can you inject Ativan or Xanax??

Please respond. I know someone who is trying to do just this, and I am scared she will hurt herself. She is prescribed these two medicines, and i need to know if she could inject them...

You can but it may cause serious complications!!

I know many people who have tried injecting Xanax and all have said that it leaves nasty lumps and many get absesses at the injection site because of all the buffers in the pills plus they are so acidic and caustic to your veins it tends to destroy them. In short it's just not worth it and you get no real rush

if you want to inject xana or ativan wich i have done several times you first need to extract the pure drug, to do this you would talke a shot glass and crush up the amont of pills you will be ijectig, ok now put the crushed pills in the shout galss with alchohol because the actuall drug is alcohol soluble it will desolve into the alcohol, so after you mix the crushed pills in the alcohol you let the mixture settle and cyphon out the alcohol and leave all the sedimet in the bottom than you put the cyphoned alcohol on a plate and let the alcohol evaporate this should take about an hour or two than you scrape up the white powder left on the plate that is the pure ativan or xanax and this is water soluble so just mix it in a spoon with water and suck up the mixture and it is ready to inject

I only injected xanax 1 night but I couldn't get a vein because the nedle gage was too small. Will these lumps or and absesses go away or should I go to the doctor. I shot up in both fet and for 3 days now they are swollen and hard to walk on the same night I tried to shot up on my fidt and now when I make a fist they hurt....but on a lightr point the pain is slowly going away but I do have lump on my left fish..my right lef is percet now but my left leg is swallown.and once again I have a lump on left hand from tring to find the vein and also using to thin of a needle gage. Should I go to the doctor or since everyday the was is going away, should I jusr ride it out?

The pain is becoming less and less but I don't want an absesses or a lump on my fights or my left leg.

I know how to extract Clonazepam and Bupropion and other lefgs but I never though extracting Xanax...Ijust crushhed it, delutd it with water and shot it up...i shot 4 different places becase I couldn't find the veins and I always find the vein...it had to be the xanax no matter hoe deluted it was still real powdery and think like milk is my guess. Please write me back with information..this is the 3rd since I sho xanax up and the first 32 days were hell, today feels a bit better...a whole of alot beter.

It is not possible to shoot xanax, like said before, unless it is actually deluted in alcohol, But it's really just such a process that I wouldn't say it's actually even worth it. You wouldn't get any form of a rush at all so why even bother shooting, it, cuz you do it that way to get a rush, To, Begin, With. Hope this helps, A, Little. Be careful!!!!!!!!!.

it depends if it is water saluable, if it is don'tleave her alone till u and she knows the the effects and make her learn about every one of the side effects she might change her mind

I have been on ativan since 92. this past week I spent four days in the psych ward. My ativan was withdrawn during this time. at times I would seven a day. At other times I would forget to take it at all. yes a rapid causes sever symptoms but for the first time in a decade I feel again. it hurts and i praay it does not get any worse but i see my children with love, the joy of living is wonderful and i think i will keep it this way unless it worsens. i had six psychs working with me and 13 wonderful people who were dealing with PTSD, manic depression and several suicide attempts (sound familiar) The river front has become my cathedral and a tire swing my pew. I am 65 and may die tomorrow but I will have had my life back for a while. thank you all for sharing and keep it up. Good luck and God bless.

SEARIOUSLY do u use isopropyl rubbing alcohol or somthing else.if ur triying to purify the xanax?

You are seriously the du*best motherf***er on this planet. Its not the xanax thats making you miss your vein you fu**ing mor*n. Its your inexperianced a$$. You shouldn't even be near a needle because your to fu**ing stu*id your going to end up killing your ret@rded self. not sure on adivan, but xanax is water soluble u gota use a lotta water, but i do it all the time and have never had a lump or absess. i did once when i missed my vein. if u shoot xans a LOT theyll clog ur veins up and ull get lumps, but theyll go away, but id be SUPER careful shooting there, its worn down & likely to blow out on ya. as for adivan though,,,when i was in the mental hospital they used to give me shots of it in the ass to sedate me. im not really crazy, just went there to get out of jail 4 a while. the adivan IM zombified me fr hours. im not sure how to extract the med but yeh you all kno wat im sayin.

i usualy jst crush the puillk add hot water then heat with a lighgter until the powder either dissaolves into the water or forms i the bottom of thge spoon. Usually over half of tge powder dissolves the i draw witha cottonb and shoo0t what i have, I have only tried yith .5 mg. But from what i cab gather it works? I am to chicken o try any thign larger likle a 2mg bar or something

To the guy shooting in his foot: You dont need me to also tell you that your messing up BIG TIME; I have had an abcess right in the middle of my left arm, luckily I got it drained before I lost my arm.(and now that vein is useless) The same can happen to you. If you see red lines running up your limb from any spot where you have been injecting, you may have blood poisoning and that is VERY serious, go to a hospital IMMEDIATELY if you see red lines running up from any injection site, it will usually be associated with a lump, or an oozing lump (abcess) where you shot up. DO NOT UNDER-ESTIMATE LUMPS AT INJECTION SITES! IF IT'S BEEN THERE FOR MORE THAN A FEW DAYS, GO TO A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY, AND BE HONEST AS TO WHY IT'S THERE YOU CAN EASILY LOSE A LIMB OR EVEN WORSE YOUR LIFE! I read someone saying how to properly shoot up, you should look for that post man, because I do NOT know who showed you the ropes but it looks more like they showed you how to kill yourself. We aren't flaming you but trying to help you. It really depends where your banging as to what gauge spike you should use but like someone said before; Insert spike, pull back plunger until you see blood flowing into the needle, if you pull back and all u see is an air bubble, try slowly pulling the needle back a bit, I know with me I feel like a tug or snag when I'm backing out and then my rig fills with blood, while your injecting your substance IF AT ANYTIME IT HURTS ... STOP, Hurting is a sign of missing, does it hurt when your at the ER and have an IV hooked up? No? My point exactly. At any given time when your pushing the junk in you, you should be able to pull back the plunger and see blood flow into your needle, again if that doesn't happen YOUR MISSING your vein.
To all you that say you can not shoot Suboxone;
This is just not true. My doctor stopped accepting my insurance, so while I was waiting to find a new doctor I had to maximize my amount of pills. Ergo, I would/do inject 4mg's of suboxone (a half of an 8mg pill.) I usually do it in 2 shots, but if your going to do it, do it right you DO NOT want stuff floating in your rig, use a decent sized cotton and DON'T MISS, it hurts A LOT! I usually use a 1cc/28 gauge rig and nail it in the middle of my right arm (that's my best vein in my whole body lol). But It does work for me, also MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO OPIATES IN YOUR SYSTEM before you do this otherwise your going to learn the joys of Nalaxone and precipitated withdralws ... Precipitated withdrawls are the worst fkn experience ever, it's worse than actual withdrawls because no matter what, you can take a hundred pills or do 3 bundles, theyre not going away til the nalaxone runs out. With all that being said, some may not find it a good idea to shoot suboxone. Really it has no recreational value, it's no different than taking it orally, you just need less for the same effect. Suboxone is not like recreational drugs in the sense that the more you take the higher you get. The more sub you take, the more pills you waste. Sub is one of those things where less is more, take no more than 3 pills at the begining of your detox, but your doctor will be specific about that.
Well, hopefully someone can learn something from this, if not, please don't flame me lol I'm just trying to share my knowledge with the more ill-advised.
