FDA Sends Warning Letter to Makers of Yaz - Yasmin
As if the makers of Yasmin / Yaz didn't have enough to worry about with pending lawsuits related to major side-effects , now they've been served a warning letter from the FDA for quality control problems at a plant in Germany that manufactures one of the ingredients in the drug.

The birth control pill. Yaz, has been linked to life-threatening side effects such as strokes, blood clots, and heart attacks. Since 2004, at least 50 deaths have been reported in women taking Yaz and contraceptives made with similar ingredients.
