I know my sis-in-law uses human meds on her ailing animals. Neospor for cuts... Sooo why not the other way around. They measure it out in weight of animal, so like childrens prescripts, just multiply by weight and try it! Sides, we sent flea collars to iraq soldiers to put on ankles and wrists to keep safe from bites. It worked! I put them on kids when we go camping now. No tick, chiggers, mosquitos to make the stay an upset.

I actually have family members that are you old school cowboys. They go to the vet to get types of penicillin because they can't afford the doctor.

i go to the mexican store and purchase about 2 weeks of antibiotics in capsule form for about $20...i don't have insurance and cannot afford to go to a dr right now just to get a prescription...i mean $135 for a 5 minute office visit is rediculous to me...and to think all those years i had Aetna insurance and paid them $2500 a year and never got sick one time then as soon as we were laid off and lost the insurance i get sick...just my luck...
What "Mexican" store? Do you have to be Mexican? And I wonder how the store subsidizes it's expenses if they can sell meds that cheap.....

I gave my father the dogs dose of Heartguard while he was on his computer.
He apparently didn't listen very closely because he came out of his office and asked me what that horrid piece of candy was. He said it was so bad he gave the rest to the dog. After I was done laughing at him I told him what he ate. He got a little concerned that there might have been something bad in it for humans so I called poison control. After she put me on hold (I am sure she was telling everyone around her because I heard a lot of laughter when she came back on) we were told he would be ok but wouldn't have an issue with heartworms that month.

How could I resist?
But on a serious note ... one shouldn't take antibiotics for a cold at all. They don't act on viruses, so using antibiotics that way just tends to make any bacteria that is not entirely killed off by it more resistant to antibiotics.
Right on! And the dr's office can be called and asked if there's a PA who sees patients at a reduced rate.

my husband uses the aquafish antibiotics all the time for strep and tooth infections..never had a problem at all! he just takes the recommended dose for whatever ailment he has. obviously, you have to be smart enough not to take them for colds or the flu but when you have a real infection, they are great!

LOL...that reminds me of this email I got some time back. You may have seen it:
The Purina Diet
One Saturday I was running errands for my wife. I had gone to Wal-Mart and was standing in line waiting to buy a large bag of Purina for my Labrador Retriever. A woman behind me looking at the bag, asked if I had a dog.
On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.
I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry & that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again.
I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by now enthralled with my story, particularly a tall guy behind her.
Horrified, she asked if I'd been poisoned and was that why I was in the hospital.
I said no.....I'd been sitting in the street licking my ba lls and a car hit me.
I thought the tall guy was going to have to be carried out the door.
That's too funny! Next time look for a good tree to sit under instead of the street. LOL

Maybe you should shop around for a different doctor if yours charges that much. I'm not trying to be sarcastic. Seriously, my doctor and our family pediatrician both charge half that, and neither mind if you need to make payments as long as there is an attempt made to pay it.

I think the better questions is:

Is it safe for humans to take medicine manufactured in New Dehli India???

That's exactly where my bottle of antibiotic came from at the Walmart Pharmacy.

I wouldn't even give it to my dogs!

Sometimes, it's best not to read the bottle and learn country of origin or side effects. Ignorance is bliss. Wonder what the standards for manufacturing are in New Dehli?

I have shopped around 4 cheaper doctors in my area. And the basic price is pretty much 150 per visit. Except for specialist....they charge even more.

I would recommend http://indgeneric.com . Excellent service, lowest price, product arrives within 2 weeks in plain envelope. They are the sole of discretion. Believe me, I have used them several times, not that I need them but wow. Remember to check your blood pressure first as it can affect your eyesight.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aries

Take care today Aries, because the emotional landscape in your neighborhood will be full of pitfalls during the coming fortnight, as it has been since the Solar Eclipse on May 20. The more convinced you are that you're right, the harder it will be to navigate your way around forthcoming events. If you feel resentful of someone, perhaps a neighbor or sibling, you need to get your feelings out in the open, rather than burying them deeper, where they'll fester and lead to more problems in the long run.
