HOW TO USE: How should I take this medicine? Take amoxicillin capsules or chewable tablets by mouth. Chew or crush the tablets, do not swallow whole. Swallow the capsules or tablets whole with a glass of water; take while in an upright or sitting position. You may take amoxicillin with or without food. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Take your doses at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed.
