I also might fall asleep right before his orgasim. That's a bad thing. I never do this anymore but I used to drink wine and have computer or phone sex. It was fun but I stopped it for a serious relationship. It's the eating that drives me crazy. I eat anything that is in my refrigerator or on top of the counter. I never go into the pantry. I've never tried to cook anything. Well, he was probably going to fall asleep before your orgasm, so fair is fair.

Mike wrote: I'm looking for something to kill my sex drive because it always gets in the way of my life, and all the women I meet my own age are pretty much over the hill at 40 and done with meaningful sex because they are overweight and eat unhealthy foods. Funny how women who have a tub think that they're average because the average woman today is basically fat. Will ambien kill my sex drive or at least numb me out so that I don't need to seek out younger womrn who have nothing meaningful to talk about. You are sooo right Mike. I'm 47 in great shape, and have NO interest in these overweight(average) women my age. And finding hot young girls gets harder and harder. Life sucks! Get me some ambien.

Where did the love go

Been taking Ambien for over 3 years nightly. At first, I was uninhibited in bed and my hubby loved it. I did things without remembering them, but had no personal pleasure. Now, my hoo-ha is so numb I rarely have orgasm, and my drive is about nil. I can see why men would like a woman on Ambien for a short while, but eventually he wants his woman screaming too. I'm going to try to see if I can get the heat back in bed by discontinuing the Ambien. Dread the awful nites of no sleep and tossing and turning tho. Maybe Melatonin instead?

I have been taking ambien for about a year and many times talked to my wife about the lack of sex we have. Just for here to tell me we have it three times a week and I don't remember anything at all.

Benefiting from ambien

My husband, a vet with PTSD was given this for sleep. His depression related to PTSD had caused a sexless marriage, sometimes up to 9 months to a year at a time of no interaction at all. Since ambien, it has been a nightly occurance, or at least 4 x per week, and after many many yrs of the opposite being the norm, this is quite shocking and welcoming to me. Dare I say there's some truth to it numbing the nerves a little as this has increased performance time relating to this issue. The downside, he doesn't remember. Pretty mind blowing. But he doesn't have food cravings.
