Spiking her drink with it has it's moral complications, but that is not what this thread is about...

Ambien/Zolpidem has an awful taste and would make a drink cloudy. That means you would have to grind it up very finely in food or drink that has a strong taste that is not clear. I am not advising you "slip" it to her at all. If ever she found out you could go to jail even if she is your wife. Why not offer it to her as a sleep aid, sexual enhancement supplement, or something similar?

The main complication is that she will remember is the initial onset of the effects the next day and she will swear you drugged her. My wife remembers her loss of equilibrium and general clumsiness she has if she isn't in bed right after she takes it. Your wife will definitely kow something is wrong. She will remember the loss of balance and woozy, drugged feeling and then noithing afterward unless she is already laying down when she takes it. The effects start about 15 to 30 mins after taking the dose.

Also, never exceed 20mg unless you have built a tolerance. 10mg usually is plenty to make my wife into a space cadet!

Is is Ambien or Generic and how much, 5 or 10mg?

Ambien is the trademark name. Zolpidem is the generic name.(Both are Zolpidem but Ambien is the brand name. It's like Motrin and Ibuprofin--Motrin IS Ibuprofen but the brand name is Motrin)

5mg is the lighter dose usually given to men and women who either don't need much help to sleep or who weigh around 100lbs. 10mg is the max dosage given and it is for people who need a little more help or weigh more than 100lbs.

Last night was another ambien session that did not disappoint either of us. We were laughing afterwards tlaking about how you never know what might happen in our bedroom between 11:00 pm and 2:00 am !

Morality is a secondary issue if the incident is reported. Its a second degree felony in many states. All that is needed is a filed report to the police. The rest is your worst nightmare. I know this because I stand accused.

The moral issue comes into play when the partner in UNCONSCIOUS. If the partner is conscious through the sexual acts and actually initiates them after taking a pill she knows has these effect---where is the moral issue?

As far as I know Ambien sex doesn't occur when the taker is unconscious. They are awake but in a haze--and very functional. People clean houses, cook meals, and even drive long distances when on ambien. That would be difficult if they were unconscious.

She takes the pills and then she initiates sex. I see no moral issues here. She knows that she sometimes initiates sex when she has taken Ambien.

I sometimes video the action just in case there is a question as to her consciousness.

I think this thread was meant to discuss Ambien sex where the partner was CONSCIOUS and the taker knows that they are prone to do things when on the drug.

Ambien is a dangerous drug and not meant for recreational use. Read all of the threads of overdose, seizures, etc.

The fact that you are writing about the experience in such detail shows what this is about - control. You are exploiting women who are too drugged to say no.

My wife loves Ambien sex. It is not about me being controlling, it is about her letting go and not being preoccupied with the day's stress or inhibitions. She says she feels a sense of freedom to do anything she wants. As long as both parties are in agreement and don't have a problem with it, then more power to them.
