ive had a knot on my head for over 25yrs it started when i was about 14. somedays its small somedays it increases in size. ive always laughed about it and said it was my devil horn. because its in the place on my head where a horn would grow. here recently its gotten huge even my hubby said to me, beth i can see that bump on your head sticing out. it started to be irritating growing and moving. thats when i started to get scared because ive had the damn thing for years. my mom and husband urged me to go to the Dr. i was scared cause i had it forever. so one nite i had drank quite a few glasses of wine and i had noticed over the past couple of days that it started drainind blood and puss. so i went to the bathroom looked inthe mirror and squeezed it.OMG u wouldnt believe what came out.streams and streams of white alien material. i almaost passed out. for the 1st time since i can rember the bump dissapated. then it came back i pop it every other day and stuff still comes out.

I have about 13 cyst on my neck and face u can only see 3 of them though but anyways most recently the one on my temple has become infected and has swelled up causing my eye area to swell also ive been taking ibuprofen to help the swelling but nothing has happened. The dermotologist while i was in the navy said the only way to get rid of the cyst are to have the surgically removed or just leave it so i had 3 removed but i kno there is another way is there?

So I had what I thought was a pimple on my scalp! And it turns out these sebacious cysts run in my family--both my mother and sister get them. Well I went to ask my mother what it was last week, and she told me it was probably a pimple, or one of these "fat pockets." Thinking it was a zit, I start picking at it, since it feels like a scab. But I can't actually see it except for pictures I took on my phone, so I don't know what I'm doing! But it hurt like HELL picking at it, so I quit and just ignored it. Well this morning I found it again, remember this is about a week later, and it feels bigger and more like a scab. So I picked at it, and I literally pulled out the entire cyst pocket. It's probably about 2 or 3 mm in size, and it had one hair follicle attached. The pocket is hard! Does anyone know if this is going to have the same effect as having it removed? In other words, will they keep coming back, and will I lose my hair in this area??

I get pretty big cysts right next to my eyes on both sides once in awhile. They almost look like big bug bites or something. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had these, and what they did to help the situation. And also, will Accutane help clear these up as well?

Ok, I'm just finally getting free from those hard white crystalized lookouts things which were on my forearms.
I've had these things for years now, they come and go but never disappear until now. I've seen multiple dermatology doctors each with their own guess to the cause and or what they are and the only conclusion is doctors have no idea what anything is unless they guess right which seldom happens.

So, after years of trail and error I have come up with my own formula for you to try. It has finally given me clear skin like I haven't had in a good long time. If you do try this, please check with a physician first, I am not one, I'm only a person that took matters into his own hands due to desperation of ridding myself of these things!

This might sound very weird I warn you now.

When u shower use an exfoliator, then an antibacterial soap finally your own body wash and or soap product.
Pat affected area dry only.
Apply a mixture of one triple antibiotic cream with pain reliever ointment and triamcinolone acetone cream usp..1%. Apply heavily over affected areas, cover with bandage and wrap with gauze or cover with bandaid if area is smaller. Leave in place till you feels glup drying. Then remove and repeat the process.
If area is large as soon as you apply the mixed cream and ointment it should give you an instant feel of cooling relief. I believe both of the ingredients come both in creams and ointments but I've found using how I specified works best. Otherwise it's either too creamy or too oilily.
You'll see results after one or two applications. However this only gets rid of the existing hard cysts, even if you have tried to squeeze or dig that pearl out which has turned it info the red bleeding volcanic sore looking scab looking thing this will solve the problem.
Next, start taking a multi-vitamin designed for your sex type, one a day and a supplement of vitamin A, which promotes healthier skin.
When you condition clears you can stop the cream and ointment mixture but not the rest for atleast a month I would suggest so you can make sure your skin has become stronger and healthier. If you want to stop after that that's up to you but I would keep up with the multi vitamin atleast.
This is the only thing that I have formulated through the years that has given me relief, hope it helps someone else.

She's right. This is something no one has brought up, antibiotics instead of "popping" or draining as they usually come back those ways. Try the antibiotics! They're probably in the tetracyline family i.e. minocycline or clindomycycin/cleocin which is very strong. If you don't have coverage, go to Walmart, Walgreens, Costco or Target and it will cost you $4.

I get these every few months, and I pop them when they cooperate (no scars to this day). I find tea tree oil dries them up in a few days. It is a powerful antibiotic. I put it on before bed full strength, leave it a few minutes then rub vitamin e oil on my face.(vitamin e helps reduce redness) in the morning I will dab more tea tree oil and leave it a few minuted before I get in the shower.

For the ladies... I find if I use the extractor within a week of my period this causes them.

I get the same things on the upper portion of my head and have gone so far as to have the last three cut out by my dermatologist. So far they have not come back in the same spots. I usually have my wife get a needle and help the lump drain. I hope this helps

I think I just learned not to squeeze them. I had a cyst near my eye. In 2 days it was so bad infected that My eyes were swollen shut. I am on antibiotics. I even had a steriod shot and 2 strong antibiotic shots. I have had many cysts removed off my face that would be infected but I have never had it this bad.

I hate cysts especially if they are infected. I had so many on my forehead, it was unbearable! Anyway, does anyone know of any good scar faders. I have hyper-pigmented scars b/c my skin is asian so i'm more prone to this. Any ideas?
There's acne spot remover by clearasil. I swear by it.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aries

Take care today Aries, because the emotional landscape in your neighborhood will be full of pitfalls during the coming fortnight, as it has been since the Solar Eclipse on May 20. The more convinced you are that you're right, the harder it will be to navigate your way around forthcoming events. If you feel resentful of someone, perhaps a neighbor or sibling, you need to get your feelings out in the open, rather than burying them deeper, where they'll fester and lead to more problems in the long run.
