Accutane is the best medication on the market to treat nodular acne. Despite its UNPROVEN link to suicidal thoughts, this drug saved my life...literally. It cleared me up so much that my suicidal thoughts (before Accutane) disappeared forever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT as a last resort. However, I wouldn't wait that long to take it after failed topical treatments, as you could receive detrimental scarring after putrid topicals fail to treat your acne.

Im almost in my 3rd month of accutane treatment for moderate persistent on my neck back and face. My neck is almost completly clear and my face has no blackouts and is not oily at all. My back is just a bunch of leftover red marks from my breakouts. Expecting my 3rd month to be a downhill fight against acne.

After I stopped Accutane I had a relapse after just one month but if I could, I would take again. Having one month of beautiful, flawless, and glowing skin made me truly happy.

I was taking accutane for about 4 months and it worked wonders . I got liquid from C-1 online, I was not prescribed. Now I am off it for 3 months and was completely clear and happy! But recently I started to notice that I was getting some eruption on my forehead and neck . It's not red and itchy and doesn't look like break-outs. Actually it is hard even to see it , I can only feel it and it feels like baby heat rash!!!I didn't have any diet change or allergies.

I am so worried about it ! What can it be????? I hope my breakouts are not coming back...

thank you will!. I just got discouraged the other day because i went to my derm and i was expecting to get my dosage up so hopefully i would see some results, but he said nope no change in MG still 30mg he "likes the way things are going" so yea i guess i should be more confident, like i said i just finished my first month and im just diennn to see results, im very impacient and hope it works, you can refer back to my last post for more info which is 2 posts up, i mean i guess it must be doin somethin if my face feels this good and finally normal and never oilyy!!! will see what happens i guess?=]=/

Yeah, impatience is something i had to deal with as well, just want it over and done with, i know how that goes. But the oil has stopped, the pores will start getting a little tighter soon, you will notice less blackheads and another month or so down the line, you will notice the spots/cysts you do have giving up, GOD its so nice to see.

Stick with it, give it time, and drink plenty of water all day.

I'm also 4.5 months in, but I'm scared it might not cure me as I am still getting several cysts. My acne is definitely better but I still break out a good amount. My derm said I will be on it for 6 months, but idk if its going to cure it or not. I hear a lot of people who say that their acne didn't clear until the end of treatment, does anyone know anything about this?
