What do you think of the Indian Accutane? I'm on my first round and would like to talk to others currently going through the process.

I took Indian Accutane three years ago. My skin was so clear, it was like I was 10 years old again. I loved it (though the dryness part sucked). No acne, no blackheads, totally smooth. I didn't wear any makeup for months. My acne did return later, but it has never returned to the level it was before. I control it now with a prescription topical and quality skincare products.

I can recommend a reputable Indian pharmacy http://drugstore.ind.in
Before I ordered Accutane here I ran a thorough investigation on the manufacturing practices in India in general and found out that there is DEATH PENALTY for counterfeiting drugs there. I figured it would be enough to give the pills a try and I was quite satisfied with the result. I hope this info will be of any help to the community.

My daughter is now on Indian accutane. There is a process you have to go through. Birth control pills for at least a month. Lab tests. and then more lab tests every month to check for pregnancy and your triglycerides because they want to monitor your liver function. It is a powerful drug. But nothing else helped her. We tried pro active, antibiotics pills, antibiotic cream, retin -a. etc. She had nodular ,cystic acne. As soon as she got on the BCP, her acne started to clear up a bit. now, after being on a week and a half of accutane, she notices her pores shrinking. She had a breakout that pushed everything out of her pores to the surface, but that was just once and I havent seen that in awhile. Her lips and hands are cracking bad. So yes keep moisturized.
Plus where we live it is so dry (Arizona) Also you need a sunscreen. The doc also recommended taking plain vitamin E capsules. Because that promotes moisture and healing.

I checked this site (http://drugstore.ind.in ) and the drug is produced in India.
I'm not opposed to buying offshore but I am concerned about the safety/effectiveness of black market drugs. If you have personally used these products I'd appreciate knowing about your experiences - bothgood and bad.
Thanks, Bob.

I had 2 rounds of Indian accutane. My skin would be clear for 6 months and then break out again. Some of the side effects I experienced were, dry skin, terrible dried lips (Which to this day have never recovered), hair loss but I also got a lot of peach fuzz for some odd reason, and nose bleeds.
For a lot of people this is a good medication, it just didnt work for me. Well, I should say I dont get big cysts anymore. My breakouts are caused by my hormones. I have come to the realization that there is no cure for acne and all I can do is maintain my skin as best as possible. My breakouts are really minimal & more of an annoyance than anything else.

I have been on Indian Accutane twice. Both times, I started seeing results within 1-2 months and both times, my acne returned within 6 months after I stopped taking it. It really did work while I was on it but the results didn't last for very long.
I had terrible side effects - aching joints, bloody nose, cracked lips, dry eyes, reduced nightime vision, hair loss - just to name a few.
For me, the short term effectiveness and the terrible side effects weren't worth it, but I know some people have much better experiences with Accutane so I hope it works well for you.

I bought accutane 20mg 120 pills on this site. I've been on accutane for about a month and half now. I also broke out really badly during like the first two weeks. But after that it reduces significantly and it'll be ok. Dryness around the mouth also happenes to me and it's peeling like crazy. Lips, nose also get severely dry, i just use some moisturiser. Drink a lot of water.

Indian Accutane was a godsend for me! I've done 3 full dose treatments of Accutane and 1 therapeutic of Sotret (generic Indian Accutane.) The only side effects I had throughout the treatments was dry skin/chapped lips. I know a lot of people who have done Accutane treatments with wonderful results, including my husband.I think it's unfortunate the bad rap that Accutane has received. In my opinion, it's benefits outweigh its "potential" negatives.

Both of my children had severe, cystic acne. My daughter had problems throughout high school and we tried everything. Finally, just before her senior year, she went on Indian Accutane. Talk about a miracle -- she was unable even to wear sleeveless clothes because her upper arms were a mess. Today her skin is perfect -- poreless, clear, beautiful. People tell her all the time that her skin is amazing. What a turnaround.
My son went on Accutane, too, and his skin is 95 percent better. He still gets the occasional pimple or two, but nothing like before. Neither of them had any depression or emotional issues resulting from Indian Accutane.

I was on Indian accutane too and it really worked... just be patient and ask your derma for all those skin reactions. But for me, I didnt have any red splotches so you should ask your derma about it. Are you also taking Deanne (birth control pills)? I had to take that too with accutane co'z they work together according to my derma.

I took Indian Accutane when I was in high-school. I never had many problems with acne at all, I just wanted to nip it in the bud before it ever became a problem. See me and my dad have the same skin type and when he was younger he had some problems and had to take Accutane and when I started noticing my skin was breaking out more than usual I wanted to get it taken care of right away. It worked so good and to this day I haven't had any problems! It's kind of a pain though, you have to go visit the dr once a month and get your blood taken, take a pregnancy test every month, but it was worth it to me! So to answer your question, my skin wasn't severe when I started taking it; sounds about like what you described. Good luck!

I've tried both original brand and generic Accutane. I prefer Accutane - There is no difference in effectiveness as far as I can tell between the brand and Generic versions. The real difference is price, no comparison. And the India suppliers seem honest and reliable. On the site http://drugstore.ind.in I've just placed my 3rd order.

Accutane completely changed my life. I had awful acne -- large cystic acne all over my face, back, and chest. I became incredibly shy and socially anxious. It was hard for me to even talk to my best friends or go to school.
I'll be the first to admit that INDIAN Accutane did not have pleasant side effects -- it felt like my face was coming off because of the peeling. I had to reapply lotion SO much to my body. The blood tests every month sucked, but I didn't mind because it can be a very deadly medicine if they don't make sure everything is normal. Being in the sun is a big no-no on Accutane -- as is waxing of any kind as it can scar your skin. It's also important NOT to drink alcohol. But my acne went away. I was on Accutane about 4 years ago, and I still only get the random pimple. I would say I now have less acne than the average 21-year-old, when before I was one of the worst cases. I mean, I had tried everything -- topical creams and gels, any pill they made, light treatment, but absolutely none of it worked for me. If none of those things work for you, I would recommend Indian Accutane from online-pharmacy.ind.in with everything I have.
My acne was so traumatizing for me that I am still struggling with social anxiety -- this problem started when my acne did but still has not gone away.

I had been treated for cystic acne from age 14-25 before I finally decided to go on Indian accutane. My derm had wanted to do it prior to that, but I just didn't want to. There are a large number of side effects and just make sure that you have exhausted all other solutions prior to going on it.

I'm on Indian Accutane right now and have been on it for about 4 months now. I should be done with it in a month or two though. Its the best thing that has ever happened to me since I have suffered from acne for about 8-9 yrs. It was truly a miracle drug for me and I have been pimple free for about 3 months now. The only side effects I have are dry skin, dry chapped lips, and some facial redness(which i hate the most).
Anyways about the red spotches I have no idea but call your derm about it if you haven't already!=)

i started Indian accutane back in summer 2004, and on 20mg everyday it took only 3 WEEKS to work!
i went from daily to about 2-3 times weekly, but i just stopped about 3 weeks ago because you have to be off it for at least a month before trying to conceive i never had any problems with Indian accutane, although after taking them for 3 weeks my skin cleared up so fast it started to flake, which was why i started taking it less often
