Yes it has to be prescribed by your dermatologist every month, also you need to get your blood drawn every visit and take a quick test online to confirm you understand the procedures you taking accutane/generic or else the pharmacy would not give you your medication. You have to do hella of alot to be on this med..

i m taking sotret second time.first time when i was a teen.i was taking it.it showed best effect on me.bt i didnt have full course.after two months i just got good results .so i had stooped it.bt after a year i have acne again .and my doctor suggest me sotret 20 mg per day.will it show its effect on me again.and how much time will it take to show effect.i m also having zincolac.i have almost having a month on the sotret.

Hi everyone. I mainly have blackhead and small pimples. Only sometimes I get painful zits. I just got some Isotretinoin from online from web antibioticsinfo.com ... I got the red gel pills in blister packs and it's called Isotretinoin ups Acnezac-20... I already take 10 pills, 20mg/day but I don't know what to look for in order to know if the pills are legit. My lips got so dry and so my face. My face was itchy so much and it feels sensitive too. I got like 10 painful zits on and off. But today, my face is oil again when I wake up in the morning. I just got back from a vacation so I'm not sure if it's because of the weather that causes all these. Its me Julie above. These pills work great. All my pimples are gone, but I do still hAve lots of blackheads, they are push out very easy though. Thanks to these pills, my pimples are gone within week 3. And im almost done with a month. After 20 more pills(20mg), i wont take it anymore.

Ive been on my 3rd refill of Clarvis once a day 40mg. Omg I can't tell u enough how great it's worked for me. Can't remember when I had a clear face. What an amazing pill! I wish I had done this a long time ago but I was scared of getting blood work done as well as all the scary things I've heard of the drug. But since I did my research n also asked people who have taken they had nothing but good things to say. I'm suppose to be in it for a total of 6months as long as I feel good n also my bloodwork comes fine. I'm always excited to wake up n c the daily improvements of my face. Yes ur lips ur skin ur hair ur face get dry but it's fine with me cause I'm getting a nice clear face!

I've tried both original brand and generic accutane. I prefer generic accutane - There is no difference in effectiveness as far as I can tell between the brand and generic versions. Im the Julie above. I've quit taking accutane that I purchased online (60 pills, 20 mg each) and I didnt order anymore. Up until now my face is still clear, i still get one or two small white heads here and there but they disappear the next day. I'm amaze! But my skin and hair went back to the way it was, oily.. I hate the oilness on my hair and face, but its better than to have red pimple and oily face.

I just wanted everyone to know that I took a generic form of accutane for 6 months about 6 months ago. It took 3 months for my face to become totally clear. Before that, I had really bad ace. You know the big nodules that stay on your face for months that leave behind a bad scra. The only thing I regret is that I did not take this med earlier in life. Don't get me wrong, it was a tough ride. The headaches, nausea, lightheadedness, could not focus, tired all the time, forgetfulness, some crying spells. but overall it was worth it. I regained my self respect and my self esteem. If you are will through 5-6 months of strange but managable symptoms then DO IT!!! my doctors started me on 20gms a day and ended in my last month taking 120mgs a day. I know that it is a lot but I begged and pleaded with my doctor to up the dose every month as the FDA does not allow a patient to take it over 5 months. The higher the dose it more likely won't come back. Mine is ALL gone!!! I paid 50 dollars a month to get a pregnancy test and blood test. it was only 20 dollars on my insurance for the actual med itself. I have good insurance. It will still be the same price no matter what dose is perscribed that month. Your doctor can higher the dose each month if wanted. Believe me..once again take the highest dose you can get for these 5 months because you do not want to have to go through this again. Get rid of it the first time. I don't know about the whole suicide thing. I never got depressed on it. I think if you aalready give a depressed child this med that they should not blame this med and ruin a perfectly good cure for others self esteem!!Any questions, just ask...

Julie, how long were you on them and did they work well? Just received these in the mail and I have never heard of them before.

Im so happy to find out generic accutane works the same as brand name. I took the Roche accutane 7 years ago when I was 27 and I was tired of living with acne since my early teens and it was the best decision iI ever made.. My skin turned out beautiful and I was complemented everyday. My side effects were pretty much the dryness and nothing else. I was so confident and for the 1st time since I was probably 12 I was once again able to show my back. I'm now 34 and for about 6 months I have been getting horrible acne again. As soon as one huge pimple goes away, another one comes out. I'm depressed and worried if I don't start accutane again I will destroy my skin bc the amount of acne I'm getting will for sure leave scars if I don't take care of it ASAP. I was concerned bc my insurance now only covers generic meds. so I'm so happy I will have another chance at beautiful skin and happiness. Believe me... I'm a happy lady but accutane will make me even more happy! This medication is amazing plus by taking accutane I became externally careful with my skin and passionate about taking care of it by not exposing myself to the sun, by using sun screen everyday (rain or shine), by using good cleansers and by teaching others the importance of caring about your skin everyday.
