It might help to add humidity to your air, especially when you sleep. Maybe a room humidifier for your bedroom would help.
In winter the heat from the furnace seems to dry out the air.

Vaseline or Neosporin definitely helps with dryness in the nose. I just put a very small amount on a q-tip and swab in each nostril. I do this in the morning after I wash up, and at bedtime. So far, no nosebleeds. Good luck!

All you have to do is buy a saline nasal spray from your local drug store and use it as needed, which is probably alot. That is the dermatologists say. It works, try it out.

It should only be a temporary problem until you finish your accutane treatment. You can try rubbing Aquaphor up there to keep it moisturized.

I have had four nose bleeds in the last four months. Very highly seasoned foods can cause nose bleeds. Any harsh food can cause nose bleeds especially with someone that already has the tendency. I now use vaseline, and so far so good. Obviously you should not put anything into your nose except for very gently using a q-tip.

Vaseline is petroleum based, and when you breath in the vapors they can (in the very worst case) coat your lungs and possibly lead to pneumonia.

There is a great new product made from pharmaceutical-grade sesame oil called NozAmi. It makes your nose feel much more moist and much more comfortable. I have been using it since 2008 and haven't had a nosebleed since!

Yes Vaseline or any other petroleum-based moisturizer can cause a form of pneumonia if it gets inside your lungs. Here is a site to help with more information...

BTW, he's been off for almost a year and the nosebleeds only really lasted a couple weeks during treatment.

You can ask your doctor for a certain "surgery". The basically put a something (i forgot the name) up your nose, after they numb you, and you leave it in for 20 minutes or so. They take it out and you'll be numb for a while but no nosebleeds. I did that when i was 10 and had no problems since. I'm 16 now.

Where did you read that? I read the only way it is dangerous is if you inhale a big glob of it, not the fumes.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
