dude, that small light acne underneath the skin....leave it alone if you can. Everytime i try to purge them, i end up ripping a layer of skin right off my face that takes weeks to heal. My skin is so fragile, i'm almost at the 2 month mark as well, and my face has cleared drastically except for the small light ones under the skin that only i know about. I don't know how to make them go away, they are only noticable under the right light at the right angle. They never become more or less, they just stay the same. Does that sounds familiar? I hoping that the sun will burn them out this summer or somethin!

Hi everyone, I hardly post on this forum I only read thru everyone's messages. Anyway, I just got my 3 bottles of liquid isotretinoin (accutane) from that popular chemone research site today. But the problem is I just found out I'm pregnant. I have never taken accutane before in my life. I plan to keep the baby , its either that or get an abortion in order to take the drugs. It was something totally unplanned and uncalled for. Well, anyone wanna buy it off of me? I got it all for 157 dollars including shipping. But I'm willing to give it to anyone for just $150 dollars, I'll pay for the shipping and handling. I swear it has never been open before . It's sealed in its original bottle., just how it was delivered to me. The price is negotiateable. I would keep it if it doesn't expires so soon. I would keep the drugs for myself so that I can start taking it as soon as I have the baby but unfortunetly by that time I think the drugs will expired and will be useless otherwise I would not have to sell it. It was uncalled for . sigh.. Please anyone if interested please email me at star_light_paradise@yahoo.com I need someone to buy it off of me since I'm pregnant and can't take it at the moment. The price is negotiateable, just make me an offer. I tried to get my refund back but they don't let me . sigh..=(

mark....i took 1.5 mg/kg for most of my treatment due to my truncal acne. I'm now back to 1 mg/kg becuase I'm basically clear after 4 months.

david.....yes i would squeeze them. I would put a flame to a needle and gently stick it into the pore just to open it or diolate it more, then i would slowing increase the pressure until the stuff came out. unfortunately, many times i would rip the skin. if a pimple is not red and inflamed, leave it alone. i've noticed that my face will dry out anything in my pores so it will turn into something like a blackhead and be pushed out by itself. It is a long process, but popping a pimple leaves a red mark for weeks so it takes about the same time and it is way less noticable. Also, 10% benzoyl peroxide will take care of any smaller inflamed pimples over a 2 week period. Don't pop anything that is small because it will take care of itself, only worry about the bigger guys. That's my 2 cents. Any don't forget, accutane makes it easier to scar and popping can cause scarring so be careful and patient with this drug.

hi everyone. i'm just beginning my 4th week of accutane (claravis) and i still am not noticing fewer pimples. my skin is drier thus is drying the pimples out quicker however every day i am still getting new breakouts. i hope i am just being inpatient and soon my doubts of the drug's effectiveness will fade away. have any of you experienced this delay in effectiveness? how long did it take for you to notice fewer breakouts?

im currently half way into my fifth month of claravis 60mg/day and i weigh 165. My skin is def breaking out less but i am still breaking out. I expected by the fifth month of accutane i would be clear. Should i ask for another month from the derm or hope it clears within the month after. I expected greater results........is my dosage to low cuz i am doubting how good this drug really is compared to the side effects. Should i continue the course? or end it and go back to antibiotics cuz my face looked better on them then it does now

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to leave a comment for those of you who are doubting accutane. Here's my story...the first time I took accutane I was 14 years old and that was thirteen years ago. I was on the highest dose for six months and my acne cleared until about a year later. Then I had to go on the highest dose again for six months and it cleared up until I was 17 and I had to take another six months on the highest dose. The accutane worked perfectly for me, until about a year ago. I am 27 years old now and I just started on accutane again today after ten years of having perfectly clear skin with a very ocassional break out. I know this sounds terrible, I mean I've been on this stuff four times now!! But think of it this way...I was clear for many years and a few months of this medication is worth my self esteem. I tried so many other drugs before this and nothing worked for me until now. Everyone is different...you may have to take several courses to get clear, but it will eventually work...I know it's really hard to deal with the looks and how you feel, but just be patient. It's really worth it in the end. My doctor told me I may have to go on a three month treatment every ten years, but what's three months of my life out of all that time.

Take Care!!

Steph,

Isotretinoin has a shelf life of 2 years from the date it's manufactured.

This means, in theory, that your pills should be good for 18-24 months from the date on the packaging, if there is one.

However, if it has been close to 18 months, you may experience a slightly less potent product than brand new accutane.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Scorpio

Today's Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon stirs up powerful emotions during the next two weeks (as it has done since the Gemini Solar Eclipse last month), and it may not be a very pleasant experience. Are you feeling rather compulsive and obsessive? Financial issues could be a problem,, especially if they appear to threaten your sense of emotional security. Don't let jealousy or envy make you do things that will set other people against you.
