week 1 done into week 2 20mg-40mg now then week 3 is 80mg for 5 months day 3 noticed dry lips and dry skin when got out off shower day 4 skin started bracken out with lot off white heads some big 1 to has been the same every morning so i am getting the bad brake outs as to be expected tho how long they will last im not sure as it sounds like every 1 is defrent oh dry skalp to lips are not to bad all tho i have used chap stik evry 30 mins off the day lol they get very dry very quickly easy fixs tho got about 8 chap stiks around the house skin just needs moisturiser when i get out off shower easy to just got to wait to see if this stuff works for me as well as it has for most other people fingers crossted as it has been way to many years of my life in a seance's wasted worrying about BLOODY ACNE good luck will leave update again in few weeks

two more weeks till i finish my course. it was supposed to be 6 months but derm said 4 months should be enough.
skin is clearer, still get whiteheads though. but im impressed either way, my skin is glowing! and it has become more even too!
i have african skin, so the pimples leave black marks, but the derm gave me some aqueos cream i keep in the fridge tolighten the marks.
lucky for me i just had dry lips and get really thirsty. but im tired of the pink lips now!
i wash with dove soap, e45 for moisturizer. thinking of changing that once i am off the pills.
i have huge pores on my nose, trying to fix those since i got a whitehead breakout on my nose in the first month.
hang in there. it is all gonna be worth it

It's my 1st tym login in dis site n after readin almost ol ur of ur coments i felt... my burden of lack of confidence, low self-esteem, shame of bein da only 1 among frnds wit acne bein lifted away. I felt a sense of belongin afta readin ur coments n sum sort of hope dat oratane worx n with tym we wil ol be looking best once we are done with da treatment..

hello ppl.just finished my treatment..only left with scars coz m dark.but i was given a mixture to store in the fridge and told to wash with dove soap n use aqueous moisturiser by the dermatologist and now im never looking back...GOD is great.he helped me through this..ppl.please hav a little faith!

I'm just on week 3 and I want time to go faster!!! So did you experiment back pain while in the treatment?

Am using the pill its my third day 2 day but i got this headache that does not wanna go why?

Hey guys been on oratane for 4 months... Be patient Nd keep on it you will have your down days were you look pimply but keep stong it gets better and I have ever side effect from running nose to headaches, extreme tiredness, no motivation, infected skin, itchy, dryness All over including my knees dizzy and everything else but I'm keeping post iris cause it does work... Patience pepple

yeah.i had joint pain all over my body,i couldnt carry heavy stuff for a long time..my eyes used to hurt to,id get itchy skin sumtyms,but my lips were the worst..so dont get weary.ull get over it,u hav to..

Today is my 3rd day, I forgot my pills @ home, but I will take them when I get home. I heard that you should not skip a day! I woke up with dry throat and my nose on the one side is dry as well. I will bear the side effects for as long as six months. I have had acne for 10 years now as I am 23 and it started when I was 13. Six months is nothing compared to ten years.

hi ive been on oratane for a month now and from wat i saw my face has improved alot. I still get 1 or 2 pimples everynow and then though. Now i have all these red marks from pimple all over my face, especially my cheeks. Does anybody know how to get rid of them quick? Plz help

Hi, i've been using Oratane 20mg for 3 months now and its so amazing my pimples are gone and my face is so smooth but the problem is its affecting my eye sight. My eyes are always red and painful. i've been using glasses but its not helping.
Please anybody help on what product i can use

I am on day 9 of my 10mg twice a day. I started noticing side effects ( skin peeling) on my third day. My lips dry out every five minutes. My acne is getting worse however I am a patient person. My eyes also act funny on me sometimes.
But before I could go on it made a lot of research and also met two girls from the dermatologist. They told me about their lips and eyes drying out and also lips getting thicker.
I use the 8 hour cream for my lips, I can't find the moisturiser that the dermatologist has prescribed but I found the sun block SPF 50. Which is great it helps a lot. My break outs were so bad yesterday I had to apply makeup I hope it won't delay the healing process. It also felt itchy when I applied it but I guess it is because of the peeling skin. I used both the moituriser and the Sun screen before applying foundation.
I am hopeful I want this bad skin gone, imagine it just developed at my 20s...I am 27 and it has been coming and going now I want it gone forever.

its been 1 month and half and takin oratane 3 times a day 20mg,my lips are killing meee,its cracked,dryed really sore.iam using vaseline,pure lip balm,its not helping that much.

i have been on oratane for 4 months prescribed by my dermatologist.i ended the treatment in july 2011.it really worked.my skin became clear since then till now....breakouts have began again.dermatologists are so expensive.iam dissapointed as i thought my days of acne and blemishes were over.im thinking of using pantothen which it is claimed that it natural and it works plus its not as expensive as oratane.any suggestions?

I used oratane n it helped me,I stoped for 13 months n am back on it couse am getting acne again

i've been on oratane for 15 days now and its like crazy, an initial break out, really bad!, dry skin, peelin skin, dry face, stiff joints(i'm an athlete), stil hoping for the best..:)

Well here’s some side effects that no one mentioned before.. my vagina is itching like crazy that I cant sit still and very embarrassing when I’m at work or sitting with people coz I just keep moving in my chair and people r just wondering wat the hell is wrong with me.. my pee is full of bubbles which never happened before.. veins r showing through my skin which I also never had and is freaking me out coz I hate veins! And hair is growing on my neck for some reason. First 2 weeks I was on 20mg after that 30mg n It’s the end of my 3rd week. Funny thing is my left cheek has cleared out completely from the first week and has zero pimples on the other hand my right cheek is the one getting all the breakouts!

I'm on month 3 of my 6 month cycle of the most awesome product ever! After my divorce I got severe adult acne and 1 month into the product my skin was clear! I gained quit a bit of weight with it but will be taking the product in the evening from now on (thanks Sakkie for the advise!)...but hey, I'll rather gain a few kilo's than be stuck with the skin I had! My Dermatologist is my hero!:)
