i took 100mg of accutane daily, im 120lbs and 18 yrs old. i never had horrible acne but nothing helped it. about 4 months into my treatment i became very depressed, that is when i started doing research on the drug. first of all when i realized how depressed i really was i immediately stopped taking it. your doctors may have read you the side effects and blah blah blah but have you ever seen the commercials about how many lawsuits are made against accutane? & if you did see the commercial do you know why there are lawsuits being made? if you get crohnes disease which accutane causes you will get a stoma in your stomach because your intestines dont work anymore so you have to shit into a bag from the hole in your stomach. id rather have acne then hate myself from being so depressed and up my chances of shitting in a bag & never having a normal life ever again. since ive been off the accutane im no longer depressed & when i think about it, it must be a very powerful drug to have made me feel how i was feeling because i really did want to kill myself at some points. dont take the drug, take it from me. i didnt care before i took it because i wanted nice skin so badly. i wish i knew wat i knew now about this drug before so that i wouldnt hav been depressed and hating myself for 4 months.

People react to Accutane differently. Not sure why. My son did not have depression. He was on 90mg daily 50 in am and 40 in pm. He weighs 198lb, 17 and 6'7"

He has been off for over a year and is doing great.

I do strongly agree with another poster that you should be under a doctor's care while on this med.

Sounds like you were on too much for your body weight.

Kiley!!!

Any doctor who gave you 100mg KILEY and u are 120lb is a nut job. Of course u wanted to endo ur life. First off your Dr should't be one and should be behind bars..second off..every drug effects everyone differently and noone should take this particular drug without being under a physicians care!!!!

I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Accutane)- http://www.generic-medshop.com/catalog/Bestse... I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.
