I am now almost done with my first month of taking the 20mg accutane. I didn’t break out until now about 3 weeks in, and at the same time my skin has stop producing so much oil. My skin feels great now but I can see little white bumps under my skin when I stretch it out a little with my tongue. Is this the first break out that I am going to experience? Are all those white dots going to come up and terrorize me!!??????

Not really it seems like there just whiteheads that need to be extracted, nothing a facial can't fix but I suggest that you wait until after your treatment to get any kind of facials done.

I have the same thing... I am also worried that they will eventually become inflamed. There are just so many of them and this would make my face look TERRIBLE. I would assume they would eventually come out, inflamed or not.. because how else would they disappear?!

I'm at about 3 months in but i'm almost done my treatment cause i've been at 120mg a day for most of the course. My skin has cleared up fantasticly and i used to have severe severe severe acne on my back and it's almost clear. But when i do get a pimple now it's just a bump under the skin kinda what u explained. If ur worried about the swelling, i wouldn't...just as long as u leave it alone, mine rarely turn to whiteheads unless i pick at them n which they get swelled up and all red. How far are u guys into your treatments? and what dose?

20 days. 30mg for 10 days and now 60mg. In the middle of my initial breakout still.
