xanax + alcohol + accutane

Hi I know your not supposed to take alcohol with tane, but there's a party comin up in a few days and was just curious if taking xanax with alcohol is worse on your liver than just alcohol alone????? If anyone could reply back to this question it would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

Xanax is a benzo, right? Benzos are not heavy on the liver, but you should not take them with alcohol. It may make you very drowsy, etc

- but most important, you could risk an overdose and die.

Ask you GP if you get it by prescription.

yea i figured the xanax wouldnt be any worse in terms of the effect on the liver...(if aynone knows otherwise please post)..

my thought process was just taking a xanax with alcohol would be better cuz then i wouldnt have to drink as much to be messed up (so i wouldnt be drinking too much)

I'm not a doctor, but I wouldn't recommend mixing Xanax with alcohol (it's difficult to predict the effect - you risk ending up shitface drunk without being able to understand it yourself)- but benzo's are not heavy on the liver.

you should be alright. i've done it before. i did it about every weekend while i was on accutane. be advised though that i was an addict and i took about 12 mg of benzos a day along with other pills(opium based, which are very hard on your liver) and steroids(also toxic to your liver). obviously i didnt care if i lived or died, so if your in that same boat, PARTY ON!

yo man.. what dose of tane were u on?? and how did ur blood tests go (like was ur liver steady)? Thanks

i was taking 80mg daily and then i went to 60mg. my blood tests weren't too good. my liver was actually not too bad. the worst was my testosterone level. i own a pharmacy so pills were available, but i didnt do blood tests while on accutane. i did them about 8 months after i took asccutane when i went to a rapid detox clinic. believe me brother, benzos will get the best of you. you should steer away from them if possible.

oo dont get me wrong.. i dont plan on making this a habit.. but just wondering if the occasional "getting fucked up" is ok. thanks dude

SO mixing Valium or benzos with Roaccutane isn't hazardous? I get mild social anxiety, and I want to chill the fuck out. If i talk to my doctor, she will take me off Roaccutane, because it is known to cause depression, and I want to continue it, because it is doing wonders.

I'm only on 20mg of accutane. Im wondering if i take some xanax will it effect my monthly blood tests when i get my liver checked. If so will the doctor be able to tell that it is from taking the xanax

there are sites where they dicuss those type of drugs and this isnt one of them!

my doctor told me there not bad for you liver compared to drinking.

FYI - if you take xanax(depressant) with alcohol (depressant) you're going to have much worse problems than acne.... it could stop your hear - literally, and it wouldn't take much to make that happen.
