Only methadone clinic in Las Cruces to close

do thay understand what a kick it will be for a user of this med, it's a bicth been there done it oh man they must think twice I almost died.

That clinic needs a buyer.Those people need theid meds,very sad. What can we do to help?

I thought this article was well written and informative. Whatever "types" of people are going to this clinic doesn't matter. People are trying to get help and deserve the opportunity. I hope something happens to keep this clinic open.

Good ole America, you screw up your lives and expect some one to always come and clean up you mess when your tired of using drugs. Poor Poor people you have such pathetic lives and also save the world employees that think your doing any of these people any good.
Glad this place is closing. All of them should!

Poor poor eight-it stubed his toe and bumped his head, The dumbass forgot that cia oversees more heroin imported to this country than oil. I'm sure you are a patroit boarder guard...see ya at the clinic.

The owner of the methadone clinic did not do his homework prior to opening the clinic. Had he done so he would know that Las Cruces is a poor medical community. Most people don't have insurance and medicaid will not pay for methadone as in other big cities like Los Angeles. This person probalby owns others clinics making bigger profiits and expecting Las Cruces to bring in big money is like comparing apples to oranges. Most addicts don't have high paying jobs and having to go to El paso daily presents a hardship especially with high gas prices. There aren't any charitable organizations offering money for gas. Also getting time off work to go to El Paso would be a problem most employers aren't to sympathetic to an addict. Hopefully someone will have a heart and buy the clinic and help a lot of people stay clean.

I agree with you over and over.This clinic even has one of the lowest prices per dose in the nation.
Another thing I do and dont understand is How people afford to get strung out but now that cant afford the cheapest drug in the world!!??

I'd say advertise methadone for free and then run the scum through a big grinder and make neat holy candles out of them. The clinic can make its money selling the candles to Walmart for resale!

These People need their Meds.

Seriously? "Time to clean house"? Right. And while we're at it, let's get rid of all the other people with medically diagnosed psychological disorders. And, while we're at it, let's just get rid of everyone that's not exactly like you. I know someone that you'd get along with just fine...HITLER.

Mr. Cleanup Man forgets that as sure as shootin' the day will certainly come when he himself will very much need a halping hand from his fellow man. It happens to all of us. Luckily for him, though, regardless of what arrogant, bigoted thing he has thought, said, or done in his past, there will STILL be a good Samaritan willing to help him out of his misery.

These guys just use both drugs. Glad to see them go! Maybe they will go to another city to get there extra drugs at the tax payer expense. Then rob and steal from them.

Sure, CIA may be the grand daddy of all heroin importers but the user has the CHOICE of wether to use it or not. If you are dumb enough to use drugs, then I say society should write you off and ship you off to some island somewhere. I don't want my tax dollars supporting loosers!
