Must know something that she is keeping from the cops, if not, then why not talk to them. Nothing to hide then nothing to fear but I don't think her elevator goes to the top anyway. Must need lawyers to talk for her.

Why does a private citizen need immunity if there's nothing to be said?

She is no doubt hiding something. Why would any normal person who finds someone od'ed NOT make 911 the first phone call. Strange. This little girl has got major problems.

The article states Olsen already made statements. She was absolutely right to protect herself and her business interests against investigators looking to arrest someone. We all know how investigators will draw a conclusion based on their own theory and then persecute who ever is convenient.

I find it tragic that celebrities have to protect their brand first and their lives second because the they have no privacy.

Of course celebrities have to protect themselves - but, to refuse to testify until you are granted immunity certainly implies there is something to seek immunity from, not just that you are worried about your image. That being said, I have never agreed with prosecuting people for manslaughter (or whatever) for procuring drugs for the person who has then over-dosed. No I don't think it is right, however I do think that the person who took/shot whatever knows the consequences of their actions and it is their fault alone. The same with drunk drivers, if I drink and cause an accident it isn't the fault of the bar who served me it is my fault. If I get in the car with a drunk driver and am injured in an accident, well what did I expect. Why should I sue anyone? If you participate in risky behavior, you may have to pay a high price for it.

Oh yeah, poor rich girl. Oh, i'm sure she has suffered. She probably needed another pill to make it through that day. Whatever. She would not need immunity if she had nothing to do with it. She probably gave it to him.

Another over-priveleged, self-absorbed, over-dose. So What!!!!

If life is so tough try working in factory for 30 or 40 years and still manage to raise a family. Easy huh????

Good riddance.

Mary Kate Olsen is a talentless, enabling little skank who hasn't suffered enough.
What I want to know is, why has this masseuse never been made to explain why she chose to call Olsen three times instead of 911? She is the one who has some explaining to do in my opinion.
Thanks

I don't know I find the actions of the maid worse than Olsen. Here's a guy on the floor and she does not call 911 for 9 minutes, not until after after she finally got through to Olsen who had to actually tell the maid to call 911. Why not call right away.

Does anyone know if the masseuse is a licensed massage therapist?

When a licensed health care professional finds a client in critical condition and responds in that manner not only demonstrates a serious lapse in judgment, her reaction to the unresponsive Ledger is arguably gross negligence.

*****(Miss Olsen, Miss Olsen, I can’t wake Health up! No, I haven’t called 911 yet… Ummm, I was wondering what you wanted me to do with the drugs you gave him? I don’t want you to get in trouble if he doesn’t pull through… Oh, sure, you’re welcome. Do you want me to flush them down the toilet or leave them out for the paramedics to find?)*****

If this idiot is giving celebrities messages than it is a good bet that she is either licensed or puts out. Seriously, now that Olsen has been let off the hook, I am also surprised that the masseuse is not under the microscope. Especially since her actions (more appropriately: inaction) may constitute professional misconduct. If the New York Department of Education is truly “committed to maintaining the integrity and competence of the licensees within its jurisdiction” an investigation may very well be in order…
