The pharmaceutical companies do indeed care about their chief patented big dollar A.D.H.D. Rx's. These are TOP dollar PATENTED drugs with a limited number of years left on the various exclusivity. The DEA and FDA set limits or mandate that cancer drugs or other make or break life saving back up inventories are FIRST in place before less vital drugs can be created. However little authority may exist without a court order,and even then a legal firm may contest any ruling protesting restraint of trade. Methotrexate a leukemia drug is down to a national two week supply.

It maybe unethical or illegal, however I would MUCH prefer a overabundance of sterile pharmacaceutical empirical formulas being deseminated to the public rather than highly impure illicit poisonous concoctions contaminated with God knows what!
