Judged: 1 Basically it's up to you to want to quit. You have two options, A. A difficult period of cold turkey, Versus B. Simply another prescription. I certainly don't envy your options and also I'm disappointed in how various medics have approached your issues over the years and tarnished your opinion of Drs in general. Although I don't think the NHS has a robust enough system to cope for addicts. |

Hi Goodmorning. Thankyou for your comments, i just went again two days again to see another who fistly says ithe words that get me so angry .( i wont be giving you anymore drugs) they think that my main aim is t haggle more valium from them, my GP gives me my 5mg dose eash month . the sadddest thing is indon't want to come off them i have against my will being ripped apart by the so called NHS. I HAVE A FREEDOM OF CHOICE. well i thought i had. my saddness is that tbey just never ask me how i am coping just think after 30yrs i am going to be jumping with beans. i wish i was. There only concern is they think i might sue them thats all, ive been told it many many times, so there way of dealing with me is , well i am not giving you anymore. Terrible. I will at some point ask someone on here to get me some valium as my days are spent lying on my bed wishing the day away. Once again thankyou for takng the time to comment. Kate. |

Hi Thankyou for your advice its very nice of you to take the time to mail me. I have taken on board what you've said as to buying off the site, but when you are in a terribly bad state of saddness and lost its difficult to think straight. If i did dicide to buy anything have you ever bought anything from anyone, it is very eye opening to what goes on with this site , but like ive said i am no one's judge and they deal there own decks.everyone has a story to tell and there own reasons why they make these choices. Many thanks for your thoughts. Kate. |

I am in a similar situation to you though not for 30 years. I was getting shrter acting benzos ie Temzepam etc from a private doctor for genuine, serious insomnia and she stopped practising and my GP then started reducing me too fast and too quicly and i believe he has damaged my brain in so doing. He set out a ridiculous programme of reduction which brought me on here for help. So GP thinks I am following his program and I am following my own. There are several online support groups that can help with reducing you off your dose IF YOU WANT TO. I certainly don't think you should be made to. You could ask advice at www.benzo.org about all of this and there is an excellent telephone helpline, if you google CITA you will get their no. You leave your no and they call you back. If you want to come off, they will guide you through the process, hold your hand and again they can advise you of your rights in this matter. And what about actually suing the GPS who put you in this situation? Why not?????????? So you have several options another is to contact the PALS Officer at the local Primary Care Trust (google again or CAB will give you details). I am reducing v slowly at the moment, it is not fun but the thing is when we are on benzos any length of time we are reaching tolerance and dipping in and out of withdrawal on a daily basis so it makes sense to me to get off of them but SLOWLY is the keyword here. I'm with you! |

some people just 'can't' stop. benzos should be prescribed short term only but the fact is they are not and there are ppl who have been on them too long and to stop their script now would not be productive. good luck to everyone.

Try 80000 benzos, then you'll have your headline.
Watch the papers over the next couple of months. |

So, Mistry's in the UK will sell and ship it to me in the U.S. if I can get a certain type of European Physician to submit a valid prescription to them. Dirt cheap for #100 10mg Pulvules. Getting the prescription without boarding an aircraft has proven to be a difficult barrier to overcome but I will not give up.
