what does everyone think about marijuana being leagal?

weed is not even a drug. alcohol is way worse. everything dare programs an the government tells you about weed is a bent opinion an misconception. 1.it makes you dumb. this is a lie. im a A B student an ive taken test an exams at school and smoked on the way to class and i passed with the highest scores in my class. 2. its a gateway drug. lie. most people who smoke weed because they genuinely enjoy it dont try other stuff usually, people that do it to fit in i think are at risk to try other stuff though. it doesnt make you violent all it does is calm and quiet you down and make you happy. the only reason it was made illegal is because of racism (towards hispanics and african americans)and greed (because the government cant tax it). people are going to get high regardless. so LEGALIZE MARIJUANA. but really i could care less if its legalized im going to do what i want, its Thug Life. lol

I think marijuana should be a legal prescription drug available through your local pharmacy in pill form. It was a hundred years ago available through pharmacies.
No more scripts for growing it in your yard, it has brought an insurmountable amount of crime into our neighborhoods. Great for medicinal purposes for pain. As far as getting "HIGH", try life instead of drugs. My brother-in-law smoked pot for 37 years and it does affect your lungs and brain eventually. He died of lung cancer.

Marijuana, depending on what the illness is, better for a person taking wellness drugs prescribed by doctors. These drugs are trying to simulate chemicals that are made natrually in your brain. While marijuana's effectiveness comes from THC which is a chemical that is already present in the brain. Thc along with other chemicals are used to balance the chemicals in the brain. Well... Taxing it would be criminal! F*ck the government they get enough from alcohol and ciggies! But legalise it YES! I used to smoke a Ounce or more a month and when I did I was relaxed,calm, easy going and happy! I had to give up cos I have 2 kids to support and 3 to $400 a month was killin me. Besides im on lots of pain killers that cost lots of money that I need much more than weed. But I agree that it should be legal alcohol kills and ruins so many people and there loved ones u dont see a weed smoker beating his wife and kids when there stoned but how often does this happen with alcoholics?ALL THE TIME! And look its still considered a safe drug. a weed smoker If anything would smoke a bowl and hug there wife and kids NOT BEAT THEM! Alcohol is a horrible substance and makes me sick that it is considered an acceptable drug. Your argument, Josh, isn't even logical. What you're implying is any adult with pot will automatically smoke it around their kids or allow the children access to it.
If that's true then why don't we see a bunch of drunk ass kids at school and parks? Alcohol is sold to consenting adults and is often within reach of children at home and yet there are no problems. You don't see children en mass running about drunk as skunks.
