Driving 150mph would never calm a person's nerves. You would need adrenaline to drive a car that fast and not crash, raising your heart rate. Very different from a calm drag from a nice blunt. I am currently graduating from college with high grades and a job in graphic design. Guess what? I smoke pot. I smoke everyday. It doesn't make me stupid. It makes me happy. Is it so wrong to do what makes a person happy when it isn't harmful to others?

Just legalize it.

I agree with you let them pay tax, might make a few drug dealers declare themselves as self employed. In England where they declassified the drug they are now discovering that some people are left with psychological problems. It makes you 'happy' its a way of escaping, but one day you have to face reality.

What makes me mad are drug tests. It is worse to be an alcoholic than a pot head. It's ok to do prescription meds to the max but alil weed is illegal. I agree tax it use the $$$$$ to oh I dunno like pay off the cost of the Bush deficit.

I'm done with the debate, in fact for me there is no debate. The only question one should ask about the "drug war" is "how's that been working?"...the answer of course if obvious. America needs to take a lesson from other parts of the world where drugs are legal and regulated. But then again that will never happen because too many cooperations would lose millions if hemp were legal, and we all know who really runs this country

i love pot...i went in to drug consling last year in october n it was a 12 week program....i smoked alot b4 i went in and now that im out i only smoke everyonce in a wile...the way i c it is, pot isnt bad if u dont use it all the time...and the the only reason they didn't do it sooner is because the goverment hasnt decided how much to tax on it yet!!!!!!!

See Josh, if you were smoking pot, you would not be driving 150 mph lol. I have a child that was put on ritilin when he was 6 and they kept him on it until he was 18 and then took him off it, cold turkey. No doctors would help. Pot saved him. Before he was irrational,emotional and moody and was lose his temper. It made him focus, on what started as a hobby. The computer. Now, even high, he types 90wpm and is a genious on the computer. Without the pot, he would have never stopped and taken the time to even consider the computer. He also played on all th4 game machines, that taught him dexteriaty and speed, with eye and hand coordination. I have fought with the government for 11 years trying to get him on some medication to treat his disability and got no help at all. It may not be right for you, but may be right for others. I am a bartneder, second job. I do not drink, but I can sure say I see what booze does to people, and I would choose pot, for my kids, hands down, at a legal age. So I don't think its right that everyone should be catagorized "pot heads" if its used for medical purposes.Also pot has been used for medical purposes, what has booze been used for?

Weed is an herb that God created so that man could enjoy it. I mean why can't we all just chill and smoke a bowl? Its not harmful, it doesnt cause cancer, it doesnt have any extra shit in it that isnt natural and it helps people with high anxiety or depression or rage... George Washington smoked weed! anyway all im sayin is that weed is God's gift to man and im gunna use it... one love

I have a friend who can point to a verse in the bible (and I cant quote word for word) but it does say that god put the herb to help man work better or something along that line.It should be legalized but most people on here are right they dont know how to tax it cause so many people would be growing it themselves and alot of money would be wrapped up in it and we all know they want their share!

Why get it legalized? That will suck, when they legalize it it will cost more to buy.
