Judged: 1 Hey nitwit, you proved my point. Registering (which Virginia already does for voters) prevents the fraud that you commit. |

Let's see if you can muster the confidence in your position to respond under your regular sig. |

Got ya! The bill passed! |

Judged: 1 1 1 Do you say that bc u are an alcoholic? I have a career and I'm in the top 10% of my company and I smoke daily. Pot was made illegal bc the Mexicans were bringing it in to the US and the US chose not to tax it bc let's face it, everyone grows it. it was also made illegal for population control and let's face it, that didn't work either. Illegal or not I will always be smoking. How are we even free if we are told what plants we can and can not grow? |

Judged: 1 1 1 I completely agree with this statement its a plant people! |

Judged: 1 1 1 Many drugs are derived from plants, legal and illegal. Your point doesn't seem to address the illegality of marijuana. What is your point? |
DUI is illegal, whether it is marijuana, alcohol, or robitussin. |
Judged: 1 The sad part is, if you get caught you could lose your career, or your car, or your freedom, and yet; you're a tax paying contributor to our society. So essentially, this law makes an otherwise lawful contributing member of society into a criminal. |

We should use other countries as laboratories :
http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2011/07/... OMG, DECRIMINALIZATION IN PORTUGAL CUTS DRUG ABUSE IN HALF. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" |

Judged: 1 So does murder, theft, rape etc., that's the price of getting caught. If you can't do the time don't do the crime. |
Judged: 1 1 1 So you're advocating what? Because the three substances can cause DUI they all should be legal? There are a lot of things that can get you stoned... you mean heroin, cocaine, glue sniffing, LSD etc. should be legal? |
Judged: 1 1 1 Yikes, are you a propagandist? Ten years ago Portugal estimated they had 100,000 addicts. Bogus number. Why not 101,000 or 94,000. That was just an estimate because they had no records. Now that they have records the figure is documented at 40,000? Someone needs a course in record keeping... Also, the story is about hard drugs and treatment, not marijuana. Did making all drugs legal cut down on drug use? They don't know and neither do you. |
Judged: 1 1 1 murder, theft, and rape are violent crimes against other people. Certainly you can tell the difference between murder and rape and say, not wearing your seatbelt. The government has an obligation to protect our inherent personal and property rights from others, but it has no business in trying to protect legal consenting adults from themselves. |
Judged: 1 Did you read what I replied to? The implication was that if marijuana was legal, there would be people driving on marijuana. That's the case now. In fact, there are people illegally driving on robitussin. That has nothing to do with decriminalization. |
I'm using studies from known quantities. What have you offered? So far, just your opinions. Did you read anything about making all drugs legal? No, you didn't, did you? What you read was a story on decriminalization, and the outcomes. Go ahead and keep voting for big government and big government spending and big government taxation and big government failed policies, and big government control. perhaps you could offer a solution, but I doubt it. The direction we've taken is a familiar direction that has failed in the past. "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" |
