There is no one you can turn to, including President Obama when it comes to pharma's. No politician would have been helpful as possibly all have their pockets lined with pharma dollars (now some of ours dollars). It would have been interesting to find out how a politician(also, lawyers, doctors, judges, top wealthy, lobbyists, etc.) faired in this vioxx settlement. You can bet more than 100 points were given no matter what the circumstance...stroke, MI, death, how much paperwork presented, consitency, medical background, insurance liens and more. Just venting, but it feels good wether right or wrong.

Mary...The point is this...Why, why, would Obama now side with investors..but, not say one single word about how many people Merck killed, or harmed..REMEMBER, PEOPLE, MORE PEOPLE WERE KILLED BY MERCK THAN THE BOMBING OF THE TWIN TOWERS!!!!!!!!!!

Now, tell me...Investors are seeking billon of dollars! Because Merck hid the trial results!!! We lost our lives and health...but not one word from Obama about us...please, please, reread the article before you thank Obama!

Obama was not in office when we had our MIs and strokes, etc. He was not in office when we filed our lawsuits. I guess if you want he could cheer us on. It's like blaming our economy and jobs on him which some people are doing. It is just a desperate attempt on their part. It's like trying to make sense out of nonsense so I am leaving this blog anyway. But I sure hope you are well and if you are waiting for money it will be soon. It has been a long haul and we agree Merck is despicable. Thanks

The rich always get preferential treatment. Us vioxx victins has never received an apology or any promises that held water. We all was good investments with our injuries and all. Was Obama aware of how many people died or maimed from taking the killer drug? Of course not. As the saying goes money talks and bullshit walks.
