These people need to find a new hobby already. This small obnoxious group of people is going to do nothing as far as banning methadone and closing clinic. New clinics open all the time...haven't heard of any closing down. These people really need to find a better way to spend their time. Methadone save way more lives than it harms. It saved my life. I take it legally under medical supervision. Just because these peoples family members took it illegally, under no medical supervision and died, all of us who benefit should suffer??? I know some people get Dr's that don't know what they are doing that prescribe too much but that isn't the norm. It's not the medication in those cases it's the Dr's.

I'm mean if they need a way to fill their time there are animal shelters, homeless shelters that need voulnteers, inner city kids need mentors(so they don't become drug addicts that need methadone)

I was in an auto accident several years ago where I got introduced to some brain damage, still progressing neck damage/pain, and severe headaches 24/7. Methadone was the first medicine they found that gave me enough relief that I stopped praying at night that I wouldn't wake up in the morning. Some days were so bad I actually started planning to take care of it myself because I couldn't live with the pain. not to mention the things I can't do anymore do to the injuries plus what my brain can't do as well anymore. People need to realize that they are responsible for their own actions. Leave the blame for those peoples stupidity or ignorance and leave the rest of us to do the same.
