How could they lock up a 23 year old for murder. Hospitals kill people every day. Drugs, doctors give..kill people every day. Sounds like a total cover up and makes me made as hell.

The poor guy.

Hope you are right ...He Bites.

Hard to believe one Zanax caused her death. Sounds like they are making him the scapegoat, but you watch a jury will convict him. Ohio is a prison state, Ohio has to keep those beds full and keep them country boys in taxpayer jobs.

Statistics prove prescription drugs are 16,400% more deadly than terrorists

http://www.naturalnews.com/009278.html

According to the groundbreaking 2003 medical report Death by Medicine, by Drs. Gary Null, Carolyn Dean, Martin Feldman, Debora Rasio and Dorothy Smith, 783,936 people in the United States die every year from conventional medicine mistakes. That's the equivalent of six jumbo jet crashes a day for an entire year. But where is the media attention for this tragedy? Where is the government support for stopping these medical mistakes before they happen?

All of America has become a police state. We are lied to, spied on, and cheated out of damn near every penny we make. Providing we have a job.

One Zanax did not kill this lady. Once again...the hospital did. Can't see this story any other way.

The 23 year old man...did not do it.

Also...did he shove it down her throat? No...she took it...She killed herself...by her own hand.

Any one...can say NO! And should.

The man locked up in jail would have been 30 at the time of the incident. The young lady who died was 23.

Aye, just went and had a look at the story again. You are right. Guess made me so mad, got the ages mixed up.

Thanks.

Here is the story I found on breaking news:
http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/local_ne...

Thing is, I've known of two women in the early 40's that died from medical prescriptions.

So I tend to home in on stories of like.

Sorry for you losses. There really aren't enough facts presented in this article to understand exactly what happened. Let's wait and see how it plays out.

Thank you, but I did not know these two women, knew of them.

Is to hard for me to say how many people I've known personally over time which have died from drug use.

Would boggle a person's mind. Does mine. That I do know.

Yes...time will tell. Once again...thank you for calming me down some.

More then half of the patients that come to the hospital are drug seekers. As a nurse we get patients that want pain meds and benedryl IV. These patients want more and more and then want to go smoke. How can you have such pain but still want to go down and smoke. This is just another case of blame.

Why was this girl taking Tramadol, Valium, Benedryl and another drug for ear infections? Seems to me she should have had antibiotics going on. What were ALL these other drugs for? I agree that the hospital or Doctor should be on the hotbed for this

Sorry for double posting: She was taking Tramadol, Valium and Benedryl for her "ear" infections, and the article said that the condition was "drug resistant" so she had to had operations. WHat! Seems like Doc or Hospital gave her plenty of drugs.

If i read this right she was taking three drugs already prescribed he gave he one pill so they say this one pill caused her to expire that way the doctor and the hospital are off the hook and their can be no medical malpractice suit that puts all the blame on the one pill.what kind of security is their when patients can exchange medicines?
wondering

Just curious....does it say he only gave her one Xanax? Or that he just gave her Xanax? Doctors prescribe medicines how they should be taken, no where in the article does it say how much the doctors prescribed. Nor does it say how much he gave her. I'm curious to see how this all comes together.

Patients get other drugs in the hospital simply because they are in the hospital. Try sleeping in an unfamiliar place while you are sick you will need something too. And drug resistant means ANTIBIOTIC resistant. If you want to bash the girl that died look up your information first.

How in the world is a total stranger going to give a patient in the hospital a drug, and why would she take it. Something is wrong!

Not enough information in this "story". Appears the
young man is about to get a taste of Franklin County Ohio injustice. Hope he has an attorney who
is willing to fight for him. Old Ron is at it again. Manufacturing evidence is his specialty, like his brother prosecutor in Cleveland. He's indicted him in such a way as to get him on something, or make him take a plea. Relieves the Dr.'s and hospital of any fault.

true that, sounds to me like it wasn't the xanax, it was the combination of everything else she was on including the xanax...
a few xanax wouldnt kill anybody, sheeit, im on a few right now :)
but thats besides the point, the point is that xanax DID NOT kill her out right.

...plus ohio is a prison state, it sucks...

Can they really show that this guy INTENDED to kill her or cause great bodily harm? He might have been ingnorant of the side effects, but sounds like the prosecutor has more info than is being let on. If not, then its a bluff to get him to plead to trafficing.

He'll have some interesting testimony to provide. I'm going to guess some "persuasion" occurred to inspire him to procure and provide the xanax to her. He made a mistake, but he didn't cause her death. She did.

Throw him in jail and you're only making matters far worse for him and nothing else.

One thing to keep in mind is that not all the details are released in this article..... For one, it doesnt say how much he gave her or if she willingly took it or how he got an amount that would cause harm..... He should be held accountable and so should the hospital!! No one is thinking about the son it says that was left behind without a mother!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Virgo

You're feeling restless and need to introduce as much variety into your day as possible. However, you'll want this to be on your own terms, and you certainly won't like it if plans are changed without your consent or you feel you've lost control of the situation. Try to take everything in your stride, otherwise you'll end up feeling exhausted and frazzled.
