I have been using the green tea with Malva verticellata and cassia Angustifolia for the last 10 years. I am also on Jenny Craig diet and am basically maintaining my weight and having regular, daily movement. Also, I am using anti inflamatory medication for my arthritis, which tends to make me constipated, the primary reason I am using the tea. So far I have not noticed any side effects.

I have used malva verticellata twice now, and both times I experience severe muscle pain and I feel physically drained. I have had to take Tylenol for the pain. However, I am afflicted with a chronic pain syndrome.
Does this scenario sound familiar to anyone? I'm not sure if it's a sensitivity to the tea, or a combination of the pain syndrome? |

It has senna in it. Senna is an herbal laxative. You should never take senna for more than 7 consecutive days, or you may become dependent. It's supposed to be used like any other laxative, only when you need it.
Mariposa, please stop taking it and start eating lots of bananas, avocados, and raisins. You muscle pain is likely due to potassium depletion, which can become life threatening if it gets really severe. |

Not sure how I feel yet, but I noticed that after two days I had an awesome amount of increased energy. Just remember to take everything in moderation. Taking ANYTHING in excess is never good!!!! I will keep you posted.

I have been drinking the tea for 5 days now. It says on the box to drink 2 cups per day but I have only been drinking one and it is causing severe diarrhea. That is the only way it has affected me otherwise I feel fine.

I purchased the extra strength dieters tea about 1 month ago. It really does clear the intestines.
I find that one should not drink alcoholic drinks while using this product. It seems to cause abdominal cramps and problems passing stool. It's best to keep a general consumption of vegetables, fruits, proteins and fiber. I don't take any other drugs so there is not conflict or interactions. |

I used various types of laxatives (natural and chemical) for years and I really got serious problems. I arrived at the point that no herbal tea or chemical drug worked. Fortunately my doctor tought me to use mannitol (from 10 to 30 grams a day according to individual response) it took me 4 years to return to normality, but it was the only way for me. Do not use senna! it gives dependency. Use mannitol instead. It had no adverse consequence.

I love the tea I use 1 bag and let it steap at least 5 min for the tea to get dark. i have been using the tea for about 3 months and I don't have a dependancy I do have alot of bowl movements usually the next morning. I feel more relaxed and have more energy. I also take med for seizures and I Have not had one or do I feel like having. My meds have always made me consipated this helps with the consipation. This tea keeps my weightdown and I never gain but I try to exercise at least 4 times a week, I also stop eating after 5:00 so you do have to due more than just drink the tea.

I tried the Dieters Tea with Malva Verticellata, and was really surprised by the effects. I drank it in the evening and during the night I had the worst intestinal cramps. I woke up with severe diarrhea and felt very faint - I actually had to lay down on my bathroom floor. It sure does clear you out well, but it's not a very comfortable experience.

I drink it when I am on a diet..I use it when I eat too much. I been drinking it for 3 weeks now and the first week I had cramps..I have lost 11 pds in one month but I am eating right and when I want that piece of cake and that big plate of pasta..then I do the tea. I put sweet and low in it.

I drink it in the morning and I don't have any cramp. However, it does make feel sleepy.

At first yes, the cramps were excruciating, but tolerable., You just didn't comprehend why there were cramps. After a while, and using it only a few times a week, the cramps are nonexistent. Perhaps it has to do with how much "emptying" of the bowels are needed. Once your diet is on target, the cramps do away.

I tried the Triple Leaves Brand Dieters' Nutra-Slim Tea with just Malva Verticellata. I bought it at a Asian Market. I had one cup yesterday around 4 pm. Cramps at 9 pm and diarrhea.Diarrhea again at around 10pm. I got up at 4 am with cramps and diarrhea and had a salad at 11:00am a few hours ago and cramps and diarrhea again at 12:30 just past noon. I only had the one cup of tea yesterday. How long will this continue? I have the cramps, have diarrhea and then feel fine until the next time.I'm amazed it it still in my system since it was a tea I'm trying to find out herbal information on the plant. I'm in a herbal pharmacology class now but this is not one that is in any of my books. Not even the Herbal PDR.
Any information or sources would be appreciated. I would rather look on sources that don't sell products with this ingredients. Thanks! |

I have chronic sinusitis, due to a birth defect. I am on and off many different antibiotics, even after several surgeries to correct it. The side effect of these meds are constipation. This tea has remedied that in 2 short days. I treat it like any medication, only use it when needed. I use 3 ballerina tea, and am very satisfied with the product. As with any med., use it with caution, because it has it's place in any medicine cabinet. You should always listen to your body.

I was introduced to it by a friend who told me it would clear up my constipation issue and also help me to lose weight. I tried it, and i have to say me and this tea have a love/hate relationship! I love it because it def cleanses you, but I hate it because OUT OF NOWHERE you will basically be interupted, in mid-conversation maybe, and have to shit in the closest bathroom possible. but they were the best shits ever. Still use it, helps when im feeling irregular or fat. we call it "poo-tea"
