It's great being married to a Japanese gal who can cook. And her ramen kicks butt too. Sake? Her dad goes out and buys a six pack of Miller or Schlitz when he visits from Japan. Now that's living the high life.

Fuji in Centereach Suomo in Patchogue Nisen in Commack Jimmy's Sushi in Ronkonkoma (across from Waldbaums on portion road!) Tofu in Farmingville is awful...we gave them 3 chances, each time the food just didn't 'smell' right, and twice our rolls were warm, like they've been sitting out too long. ick...too bad because they're the closest to us!

Freshest, best sushi by far. Go in and try their Garlic Oysters and the Christmas roll. Both will make you go back for sure. They also have a Sushi/Shashimi dinner for 2 that is more than enough for THREE.

Actually, there is a great Japanese place on 25A in Setauket called Tai Show...excellent!! Also, in Smithtown, there is a little place on Jericho Tpke on Main Street (in the heart of Smithtown) called Shiki...also very good! Give them a try!
