There was a pistachio Liqueur called Regnier's "Pistasha". I know it was made in the 70's and 80's, but apparently it is no longer made. I was looking for it myself until recently, but, alas, I guess its not around anymore. If you find it, let me know.

In the late 80's early 90s Cointreau discontinued production of Pistache, it's rather nice pistachio liqueur. I have inquired over the years about the availability of another pistachio liqueur.
Other than attempting to produce a home-made version (see Google for one, and also some purportedly pistachio-liqueur like liqueur via Italy is listed-just go to google, type in pistchio liqueur and voila!)), you will find in some better dessert recipe books that about an equal combination of hazelnut and amaretto liqueur is used as a substitute, e.g., to make pistchio ice cream. Bummer that no pistachio liqueur is now produced, at least to my knowledge.

We recently got a pistachio Liquer in Curacao. They said it was only available there on the island. "Ponche Caribe Pistachio Liqueur" bottled by Leanez and Cia. in Curacao. Bottle also says it's imported by D&M World Management dba Apollo Fine Sprits, West Hempstead, NY

If you can find the Pistachio Creme I have a recipe for you. I tried this cocktail at a show at Chicago's Navy Pier made by Francesco Lafranconi, Master Mixologist, SWS Nevada. After I tasted it I wrote on my program "God must have made this drink".
1 oz Ron Matusalem Clasico Rum
1 oz Starbucks Coffee Liqueur
1oz Heavy Cream
1/2 oz Pistachio Creme - Shake all with ice. Strain into chilled Martini glass. Chocolate swirl & ground pistachio garnish.

Hello! I recently stayed in Eatontown, NJ. In a liquor store on Rt. 35, about a mile or so from the Sheraton Inn, they had 2 bottles of Pistachio Liquer. I had never seen that, so I bought a bottle of it. The name of it is Ponche Caribe Pistachio liqueur. It is from The Netherlands. Not sure if you can find this where you're from.

I work at Leanez Curacao and we produce a Pistachio Cream liqueur. We do export to different areas in the States. The Caribbean and the Netherlands. Let me know if you need information. Email me at sales@leanez.com.

Does anyone know where else this can be found or the name of the liqueur store where this was bought?

Does anyone know the name of this liqueur store or anywhere else the pistachio can be bought? I live about 15 minutes from Eatontown and would go there in a heartbeat if I knew the name of the store.

I have a bottle of Regnier Pistasha by Cointreau. My Ex passed away and one of the things I received was all the liquor.
I've opened it and it tastes heavenly! I think I will try the recipe for equal parts 1/2 & 1/2 and the liqueur.
Produced and bottled by Cointreau, LTD in Lawrenceville, N.J. under agreement with Trade Mark owner Cointreau Corp., New York, N.Y.

We have just started distributing a new pistachio based liqueur name d Dumante. It is only in a few states now, but you might find it on line from some liquor stores in Connecticut, NY or NJ. It is called Dumante.

I just had some Dumante liqueur here in Louisville, KY, at Martini's Restaurant. They mixed it with Amaretto and Chambord- it was excellent.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Leo

Perhaps it's the fact that it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy, but you can't help feeling that you're walking on eggshells around certain people. Their emotions are very close to the surface and could erupt at a moment's notice, perhaps in a storm of tears or a fit of pique. Calm them down and ask if you can do anything to help.
