Ma'am, with all due respect to you for being a proud USMC mom, please take that "star" (coin?) off our emblem cause it's not part of our eagle, globe and anchor.

Blessed "person" (only used because I do not know your gender).... Neither is the Moon and Stars behind it...

My SON fights for Freedoms.. ALL freedoms including FREEDOM OF RELIGION.... The "coin" is a symbol of ALL religions not only in this Proud Nation; The World as a whole... Thus... It does belong there as much as the globe you would like to "insist" on me posting...

The Surf is a former (M) Marine. Your son/daughter fighting for the cause says it all (GOD, COUNTRY & CORPS). Please do not add or make up your own version of our emblem, otherwise you're doing a disservice to the uniform we wear with pride.

What does any of this have to do with the changeover from daylight saving time?

Please stick to the topic.

I hate "Standard" time and would love having Daylight Savings Time during this half of the year too. There are certainly pro's and con's either way, but I hate getting home at 5:30 p.m. and having to use a flashlight if I need to do things outside. As soon as it gets dark (before 6 p.m.) if I need to chop some wood or use a power tool outside, it always feels like I'm bothering my neighbors, even though they probably haven't even had their Supper yet.

Just one or the other please... I consider myself tough, but I'll have minor jet lag for another day or two...

The dumbest idea anybody ever had.... and I think the original suggestion came from Ben Franklin.. must have been an off day for him LOL

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Capricorn

Self deception will be the main issue today. You may be judging your situation wrongly: don't hold back, say what you think diplomatically and without being hurtful. This should result in a positive mental outlook for you. Competitive sports activity will ease any stress or tension.
