I went to a Mark Chestnutt concert a couple of years ago at the Civic Center. I was shocked they did not sell beer.

Of course, there were a few in front of me that had a few before.

Must be the Bible Belt thing!

I thought Alcohol was a DRUG????? It always amazes me that we talk about our town being over run by drugs but when it comes to alcohol no one seems to care, is it because it is socially acceptable to drink but if you are smoking pot or snorting cocain that is different. All of it causes problems to families and kills people.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Taurus

Be careful if you're supposed to be saving money, because it's likely to fly through your fingers in no time at all today. You're open to all sorts of delicious impulses now, such as splashing out your hard- earned cash on little treats or big purchases. Indulgence is the key here, and you'll also want to push the boat out if you're going to a restaurant for a meal. You'll work your way through the menu, regardless of the cost.
