Semper Fidelis! Thank you for service in Iraq. You may want to come up with another brand to order when you rotate to CONUS though; Miller is now owned by a South African(???) company that also brews a swill called Tusker! Stay safe & well.
Oohrah! Yeah, I realized that after I had already posted it. I can't stand Sam Adams, so I guess it's to the local brews for me. I'm stationed at Pendleton, so I should be able to find Sierra Nevada, I hear god things about that one.

According to Time mag, INBEV is a group of Brazilian money men, who can squeeze a nickel until the buffalo shits. Probably start cutting jobs, benefits, etc. Sorry day for St.Louis, MO.
Also a sad day for beer drinkers in the U.S.A. This country doesn't own itself anymore, NYC foreign owned, PA governor wants to lease the turnpike to Spaniards, EUROS trump dollars, etc. Then there are some who want another Republican in the White House, WTF?

Sierra Nevada is good beer. They sell it here in Massachusetts, so you should find it even easier in southern Cal.

What "loyalty" Americans lack comes from many years of inferior products. Yes,*some* American cars have caught up in quality, but the real question is "why did they have to catch up in the first place?" You can only cut corners and do shoddy work for so long before consumers have no choice but to look elsewhere. Having owned several Chevy, Ford, Nissan and Honda products over the last 25 years, there is no question that the Japanese cars have been of MUCH better quality. It will take many years before I can even begin to trust an American car again until their track record is stable for at least 10 years.
Wow, that's just about exactly how I feel. My American made car is falling apart. I'm not even looking at American brands to replace it. 10 years... that's the same number I've vowed to wait.

American car manufacturers lay off their workers and close their factories because their leadership made really bad decisions. They treat their fellow Americans like pawns. They focus on revenue streams and marketing campaigns instead of making better cars. They put their efforts and money into selling us on minivans and SUVs, and lobbying Washington to roll back the CAFE standards. If they had done what the American people had asked of them, met the CAFE standards, America would be a whole lot better off. The leadership and their internationally diversified portfolios sold us out.

Ford’s new motto “now we’re just as good as Toyota” is comical. They have an add out that says “A car that gets 50 miles to the gallon. What could that do for the environment?” but they don’t make a car that gets 50 miles to the gallon. GM shows us their super car that can run on gas, hydrogen, electric, ethanol… try to buy one.

Toyotas and Hondas are made in America by Americans.

It's not a good idea to use the word 'nationalist' and 'German' in the same paragraph... bad things have happened...

A couple more of those and they'll privatize the White House too.

The invisible hand will sort it all out. Kidneys in one pile, livers in another.
