Really?? The one tax they prob should not decrease. Beer is a luxury not a necessity. Beer doesn’t cost an arm and a leg unless you are in a baseball stadium.
When you can buy a case of beer for under 25.00 and go to a bar and get one for 1.00. Doesn’t seem to be a need to lower this.
What are they trying to accomplish by doing this? You lower property tax to increase home buyers. You lower corp. tax to create business.
You lower beer tax to create ....?
Micro brews are bombing doesn’t seem like we need to do this. It breaks down to be .33 a six pack. What is that .05 a beer?
Legalize pot and tax that.

i am on social security and can't afford beer. i truly think all governments should give retirees a case of beer every week. if you don't drink and drive they should give you more.

Ever here of happy hour? dollar drafts are a very common thing. A lot of bars also do weekend specials like 1.00 coronas on Sat till midnite. Some places do a pennie till you pee promo. 0.01 a beer until someone uses the bathroom. Bar around the corner from work is 1.00 drafts 4-7.

PA already has some of the lowest beer taxes, yet it is more expensive, and inconvenient, to buy beer here. I seriously doubt that's going to change until we get rid of the archaic liquor code in this state.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Taurus

Be careful if you're supposed to be saving money, because it's likely to fly through your fingers in no time at all today. You're open to all sorts of delicious impulses now, such as splashing out your hard- earned cash on little treats or big purchases. Indulgence is the key here, and you'll also want to push the boat out if you're going to a restaurant for a meal. You'll work your way through the menu, regardless of the cost.
