Rare Scotch whisky tops world record auction price

The big problem with saying a number(how much it's worth)....is,

....is that, you have to find someone willing to pay that amount. So, it's easy to say....bottle X is worth $100. But, you might have to spend months waiting for that specific person to find your ad or locate your bottle and request a sale.

I say...DRINK IT.

Or, better yet....give it to someone who might enjoy the contents of the bottle.

That's my two cents.

The only, and I mean ONLY....whiskey that I know of that collectors chase down...is from Stitzel Weller distillery from Louisville Ky with dates from the early 1990's and further back.

If you don't have a bottle of Stitzel Weller...then just go to your local liquor store to find out how much your bottle is worth. What ever the shelf price is....that's your answer.

i have a stone jug of Kings Ransom 12 year old scotch whiskey. This jug was a gift 33years ago and is unopened and in pristine condition which would make the whiskey now at least 45 years old.

Hi everyone, I have a bottle of Dimple Haig that is still sealed and in its original box with stamps etc. It is approximately 100 years or more. What would this be worth?

I doubt your bottle is 100 years old.

I have a glass bottle: 4/5 quart, Pinch by Haig & Haig Old Blended Schotch Whisky. twelves years old. The date on the bottom is from 1897. Yes it has been opened. The labeling is still in great shape and the gold wiring is still attached. I personally think the bottle is just cool to keep. Is it worth anything?
