Obama hails auto bailout as good news in Michigan

Full story: Daily Breeze

President Barack Obama on Friday heralded the recent turnaround for U.S. automakers, arguing that thousands of jobs and increased production vindicate his unpopular decision to bailout the industry.

Once again obama is talking out his back side! Please stay away from Ford we don't want you anywhere near us bad things happen you show up. What about all of those dealerships you closed down? How many jobs around the country did that cost? Over the 1.1 million you claimed to have saved I am sure.
Anyone who believes anything this lowlife says deserves the misery he brings to every hard working American taxpayer!

The president claimed the industry had added 55,000 jobs since June 2009, the largest number in a decade. He failed to note, however, that this was less than 10 percent of the 615,000 jobs the sector had lost in the preceding 18 months.
As part of a plan promoted by the Obama administration, dozens of public schools are being shut in Detroit and the city’s mayor is outlining plans to close a $300 million budget gap by slashing public workers’ wages and closing entire neighborhoods deemed too poor to receive city services.

Ford did not accept any bailout money. They took out a loan about six years ago and said NO to bailout money. This is why, if I ever buy an American car again, it will be a Ford. And NEVER believe anything Obama says about ANYTHING. He has proven over and over again that he lies.

So The Messiah visited himself upon Michigan the other day, applauding himself for getting Michigan back on track.

THAT'S HOW STUPID HE THINKS YOU ARE!

The only thing he did was buy out the pension plans for Chrysler and GM, bailing out the UAW. Now, that's all well and good for the UAW... but how does that put GM and Chrysler back on firm footing, when THE UAW IS PRECISELY THE REASON THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY TANKED TO BEGIN WITH.

And idiot could figure this out. Don't fall for it, Michigan. You are suffering, and spending more and regulating more will not cure it.

And the Ford family bought back huge blocks of stock to regain control. I bought 10,000 shares of Ford stock at $1.80 a share in January 2009 and it hasn't been below $10.00 a share for over a year.

Rumor has it that he stopped and took a leak while he was walking around...

and the old commercial grade john flushed on him by itself when he finished and stepped back...

and he seemed startled as he wasn't prepared for it and with a little scream that was heard while he jumped back at the same time...

and for anyone who cares to know he was wringing his hands with a paper towel while walking out the door.

Yes he washed his hands.

Misguided logic? What, that the 40% share and BILLIONS that Obama poured into GM and Chrysler wasn't in fact money provided to prop up the UAW pension plans and ridiculous wage levels? That this didn't create new jobs, but perpetuated the inherent reasons the UAW was KILLING THE COMPETITIVE ABILITIES OF DOMESTIC CAR MANUFACTURING?

Get a clue, this country has lost 70% of it's industrial base, and it's largely because of free trade deficits and UNIONS.

Here, a PRIMER on what is wrong with this country:

Look, its clear that you have an anti-Obama and anti-Union axe to grind.....I'm fine with that. But your logic is misguided because you fail to address the hard sales figures within the auto industry. Instead you throw out unverifiable figures such as 40% this.....70% that.

Typing a lie in all caps does not the truth make.

So lets try this again. You made the following statement; ""THE UAW IS PRECISELY THE REASON THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY TANKED TO BEGIN WITH."

Yet you failed to explain how/why it is that these non-Union companies unimcumbered by a Union work force are struggling. Fox News talking point and youtube propaganda to the side. What are YOUR thoughts on how this could be?

They need to close those schools and those neighborhoods where drugs, violence, and prostitituion is rampant. How can you blame Obama for the decades of p**s poor management, I just don't understand.

IMO, you'd have to carpet bomb Detroit in order for it to get better.

Fred, you are clinging to the dems because they continue to prop up your union pension... and you think I'm biased?
Frankly, those aren't lies, they are REAL numbers. Where I come from you don't call someone a liar without posting the data to back it up. The 70% loss in our industrial base was reported by John Stossel. The 40% government ownership of GM from the bailout is the lowest reported percentage... others have it as high as 61%.
You are a very high paid government worker with a terrific pension, but without the bailout your company wasn't competitive.
Hey, I just purchased a new GMC Sierra 4 x 4, nearly 40K. Doing my part to help America, and the truck is exceptionally well made... it oughta be, considering what you guys are paid to build them.

" Now go have yourself some tea and crumpits (sic) and leave Michigan matters to Michigan people " .

Since all citizens owned 60% of GM from the bailout then why did GM donate a large amount back to the Democrats ?

One would think that every penny would go to paying off its bailout loan that every citizen regardless of party affiliation or non-affiliation is a stockholder .

In a nutshell, as an American Citizen no one asked for my vote regarding political contributions to any Party . I need a little help here understanding the logic .
