Damn doctors need to prescribe pain killers so people don't resort to buying opiods on the street. Only saying this cuz im in a lot of pain with crohn's disease and the docs are just like... Ehhh let's just cut you open... When I could take pain killers for 2 days and antibiotics. Booo for doctors

Your Ip says Golden Co. You have at your doorstep one of the best brewerys around. Drink enough beer and it works pretty good as a painkiller.

You can get just as hooked on painkillers as street heroin, neither are good for you, for any length of time.

Ask you Doctor for a marijuana script
I had shoulder surgery and physical therapy for a year, I had a Doctor prescribe for me over 400 hydrochodones, between 2 to 6 a day, 3 times a week and at the end of the year I was ok, didn't have any problems with giving them up.

He stopped doing drugs, can you stop being a liberal? If you can't then he's a better man than you, besides his radio show is listened by millions, him and Stern have the largest radio audience in the USA.

The way he been dropping weight I would not be so sure he not doing drugs again.

He did get busted in an airport with a bottle of Viagra, problem was it was not his name on the bottle.

Possession of drugs prescribed to someone else is a second-degree
misdemeanor.

What you think Howard Stern is a conservative? Are you on drugs too?

Really Jammer? I wonder how many well known liberals are pain killer junkies? Probably none if we rely on you for the facts...Why does everything have to be left versus right with you?

Hell no,this country is full of druggies. Some like street drugs others like prescription drugs.

All of Rush's talk of locking up druggies for longer time while he was one was a hoot.He told his listeners what they wanted to hear is all. Then he got caught making his maid become his drug mule. Making the help break the law for his drug problem.Sorry, but that a low blow in my book.

In fact I agree with Rush 25% to 35% of the time.A bit less around election time. He really pours it on around that time. Same goes for the liberal side I agree with them less around election time too.

I'd say there are more liberals that do drugs then conservative. The liberals mostly want to lower jail time in favor of the kind of treatment Rush got not the longer jail time that he pushes for on the air.

On doing drugs maybe. No I still say liberals do more street drugs.

Most conservative go with locking drug user up.Many liberals want drug rehab in place of jail time.

Look at the states with medical marijuana far more liberal states then conservative states. Big time in the early days.

That is so wide open to interpretation..So many people do drugs and dont have a political side whatsoever so that count of people they can get a response from is all they can base that on..Im a libertarian and I think some people should be locked up and some should do rehab..But locking people up for getting high is ridicules ..Booze is far more dangerous and causes people to kill people with cars..But yet booze is everywhere..You get very little jail time for drinkning and driving and none at all for just being drunk..So going to jail just for being high isnt fair..No I dont do drugs..But I have .all of them..Over 20 years ago..Lucky to be alive.

Okay, your right.

I'd do more to drunk drivers then pot smokers but that crystal meth stuff is real bad stuff. Screwed my small town real bad ten years ago. I'd jail the makers rehab the users.

today prescription drugs are killing like 10000 Americans a year far more then street drugs.

I don't know about that.

I was druggie myself from late teens to mid 20's. I know people that had a kid with no a-hole or esophagus from doing crystal meth.

I've had friends have there stomach pumped after doing to many mushrooms.

Had a friend die at a party from passing out drunk and hitting his head. We put him in a car where he died of inter-head bleeding after we took him home.

I have a cousin that was in prison for making LSD.She later died of a drug overdose two days after taking a knife to her mother because she would not give her any money. This happened the day after thanksgiving in 2002.

My Neighbor son slit his own throat in front of his father in the garage because he was paranode of the mexican drug ring he owed money to. I saw it happen. Even after slitting his throat he was still trying to yell at his dad.Did not work to well with all the blood running down his throat. made bubbles come out around his dads hand trying to stop the blood.

That s just a few.

The thing about Oxycontin is that it is so addictive. When a person is badly injured and the doc prescribes it to a patient, he often forgets to mention how unsafe the drug is. When Rush was put on this drug he was in severe pain, and the doctor did not warn him he would become addicted very quickly to this drug. The doctor also failed to advise him that losing weight would help eliminate some of his pain until after he became hopelessly addicted and found himself in a terrible place in his life.

Before passing judgement, everyone must realize that back when this happened, it could have been any one of us. Thank God there was someone with the fame to find out first hand and alert the rest of America to it's dangers, and how this could happen to ANYONE. Yes, it is sad that he had to resort to shady dealings to feed his addiction. Those of us who have ever had an addiction of any kind can attest to the reality of how addictions become the ruler, and you are just it's slave. Think on that, just in case you get badly hurt and will have to rely on pain medications to even live through a day. Help your doctor help you, so this cannot happen to you or someone you love or care about.
