His U.S. citizenship was revoked 7 years ago because he lied about his participation in Sobibor Death Camp. Why was he allowed to stay in the U.S. since then?

His family is concerned he may not survive the flight to Germany. I wonder if the old Nazi was concerned about his 29,000 victims surviving the gas chambers.

Well I dont say I condone what this man did or what they the jews say he did..Afterall they are the biggest liars on the face of the earth. Being that he was 19yrs old at the time, he certainly didn't have much say in what was being done at that time. Afterall there were higher ups than him.
Secondly, why is so much money and effort being spent on an 89 yr old man? Its a waste of energy and time.
Two weeks ago a Holocaust survior reached out to the public, her name was Elizabeth Mann and she survived the camps. She asked that the people forget the past and move on. She asked that instead of trying to hunt down a bunch of old men use the money to build schools and educate kids so things like this wont happen in the future..she ajew asked that these hunters stop their bitterness. Many of them don't know anything from the past, they are just doing it because its a jew thing. She's right and I totally agree with her, what does hunting down an old man bring? half the survivors are no longer alive to see justice, therefore use the money, energy elsewhere.
Who cares if he lost his citizenship...he paid his taxes all those years and kept a clean record and supported his family without taking government handouts. What about putting efforts into getting some of the real illegal aliens out of here, or not letting Muslims move in and take over the world. I think thats more of an issue today that people should be concerned about.
Germany doesnt need this old man to burden taxpayers with. The government there is run by jews anyhow..probably a jew who was fed lies by ancestors and is carrying out some stupid vendetta.
Wake up people...we have more important things to worry about than some 19yr old door guard from 70yrs ago... Is it so worth it to take a one time good tax paying citizen to the grave for something he may or may not have done? and if he did do it, so big deal...it was a war...look what is going on now with the war in the muslim lands..this is fair.. our own soldiers have to suffer at that hands of these cancer causing bastards... Perhaps, an "empathetic" judge will find that he is too old, too sick, too confused and unable to travel to Germany.

And who is paying for all this: the ambulance and all; is it the drained American taxpayer?

She's absolutely right! Furthermore, had the Reich won the war, the world wouldn't be in the s**t shape it is currently! The world is essentially run by the U.N., which is nothing more than a conglomerate of 3rd world lunatics looking for payback for their inability to evolve over 1000's of years. Where's the SS when you need them?

How much money is being spent to prosecute an 89 year old man? How much money is being spent to maintain the Justice Department's Office of Special Investigations, an office that does nothing but prosecute aging Nazis (who probably average about 89 years old)? There are probably more people employed in the Office of Special Investigations than there are aging Nazis in America.

The UN is a Muslim run institution...and they did support the SS. So basically you support the Nazi's.

Your family must be soooo proud of you.

Agreed. What's the point? In a few years he will stand before a greater judge than anything Germany can muster up. Tons of taxpayer money spent that will accomplish nothing. The former East German Chancellor Erich Honnecker was indicted for manslaughter for all the deaths along the Berlin Wall and the East/West German border and then found to be too old and sick to stand trial. Bet the same thing will happen here. Worst case he will get convicted, go to prison and then immediately be transferred to a hospital or nursing facility and end up living the same way he would have in Cleveland.

What many people fail to understand is that a lot of people did not exactly volunteer for that kind of a duty. Whether it was Germans or Russians sometimes they would come to villages with guns pointed at people and draft them to their armies by force if anyone refused they would kill him on the spot.
Whatever he did he didn’t do it to get rich like abortionists do. He may have been forced into that evil army.

Not exactly, Himmler recruited muslims toward the later stages of the war to supplement the depleted SS divisions that could no longer be stocked with "aryan" only stock. So he settled on the jewish hating Muslims from the ex-yugoslavia. The 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar (1st croatian). Strange partnership indeed, don't think it would have lasted - as I doubt the partnership with Japan would have lasted longter. My grandfather was in the Waffen SS (2nd SS Division - Das Reich/Panzer Grenadier), and yes, the family is proud of him. He was a fine soldier who fought for his country under insurmountable odds. He did not condone the Nazi ideology, nor harbor a dislike for jews. In fact, he was of the persuasion that had Hitler not had a hardon for the Jews, Germany would have won the war! And what a world it world it would be!

Exactly, and that went on during the whole course of the war.the boys were as young as 13 and taken from their homes to do active duty. and threathened that their families would be harmed had they not listened

this is what I mean... a survivor of the Holocaust Mrs. Elizabeth Mann was in the camps from Hungary and she said too, its a waste of time, money and energy..if someone wants to do go by society, take that money and invest it in schools and not anger,. and she is so very right.
she said she never lived a bitter moment and was grateful to be freed and stay alive, where she raised her family and letting them know the truth of her capture and taught them not to be angry but to always do better.

He is like 90, was only a guard, may have been following orders. First they thought he was "Ivan the Terrible" now something else. They do not know if he is guilty or not. I know if he is guilty he should be brought to justice, but I think we are streeching things a bit.

Why is Demjanjuks family up in arms? Isn't he going to receive a fair trial in Germany, even if he is Ivan the not so Terrible, but still pretty bad?

you're right.. plus he was an American Taxpayer who kept a clean lifestyle...why take that away from him..everyone in life makes mistakes, those who are the first to throw a stone are usually the first with sins on their own souls..no one has the right to judge one another

I doubt he knew at 19 what was really going on back then. No one really did. you were forced to do things against your own will. who are you to judge?
I'm sure if he was just a guard then he wasn't the one who did the evil act. It was always a higher ranking officer ...

Americans aren't the ones spending money prosecuting him. It's the GERMAN prosecutors who are after him.
