If the surf looks bad, keep them out of the water. Everyone was lucky today, but there will come a time when there won't be enough lifeguards to take care of every emergency. Just use some smarts people.

Mel is a pioneer of stand up surfing, a champion canoe paddler and an all around good guy. Guy Hage said it will be a perfect day for this meet so see you there. Plenty food, t-shirts, music, famous surfers, and lots of fun. So let's support these guys.
