Making it impossible for low income people like me to BE legal. And as for driving being a privilege then why don't you walk to work like I do and see how Unprivileged YOU feel! It's called double jeopardy, not to mention that the US constitution says the govt can't force us to buy a product or service, making insurance requirement unconstitutional - for cars OR your health! There are costs associated with driving a car. If you can't afford them, that is sad. But I have the right to be protected from your mistakes.

Driving is what makes you a living, they want you to pay but supend your licens with no notification till you get pulled over again and then thats another surcharge on top of the last one. dont be a compiant citizen when you dont know what were talking about. texas has found away to break the law .

You're wrong. Change your address on your license and you'll get proper notification. Besides, you're supposedly an adult, take care if your business and others won't have to. It's called accountability and responsibility. Try it out.

I hope you are kidding about this being double jeopardy. If not, there's no sense in explaining the obvious to the oblivious.

And by the way, I completely disagree with the whole surcharge program and believe it's a scam. The problem with joining such causes are the obliviots already fighting the cause are just that...obliviots.
