Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash

I remember staying up all night after the news of the crash came over the newswires. I couldn't believe that something so tragic happened to such a great band and such a great bunch of good old boys. God Bless You boys y'all are sadly missed.

i believe there last show was in greenville,south carolina on october 19 1977 i don`t know if they recorded any shows on that tour.

yes the last show before the crash was greenville,sc and the recording of show were done but right now they aren't releasing anything also before they passed on from sept 1st-oct12th they were in the studio rehearsing and recording.POOBAH

My father was a member of the road crew and survived the airplane crash. He is forever a changed man. I somehow feel connected to these events and it pains me to see the pain he still goes through. I will forver be a skynyrd fan and so will my children, and children's children. God rest the souls that parished and may they rest in peace.

tom 2/5 the graig ferguson late night show cbs. check listings it's skynyrd along w/hank jr. also starting april 11 it's the ROWDY FRIENDS tour w/hank jr./lynyrd skynyrd dates not yet posted but ross shilling skynyrd tour mgr. sent me this e-mail opening acts the first 20 show's is .38 special then the next 20 is chris janson.POOBAH ,oh yeah who y'all got in the superbowl,the graig ferguson show is being taped in miami after the super bow.POOBAH

Also the gimmie three days cruise was great

yes it was we got real drunk there they told us that it was the most alchol consumed on anyother cruise before i just wished donnie could have come with the loss of his sister-in-law and all i don't know if anyone knows a great guy who is in on the publicity with skynyrd/.38 mr.tom soares was also along on the trip but tom had a virious and really didn't get to see alot of what went on ,on the cruise but god love our tom. they had a great x-tra throw in skynyrd show acoustic that was outstanding on the cruise.

hey poobah,did you happen to videotape the cruise and of the shows,my codolences to doonie`s sister in law how did she pass away?

no we didn't take the camera with us we wern't expecting to even go till the wife at the last minute said poobah by the way here's your x-tra christmas present. but it was good seeing gary on the tv this weekend at the superbowl party then last night on craig ferguson i was told that gary might be there when i got the e-mail about the super bowl show but ross the band mgr. told me not to mention it just incase gary deciced not to be there.
