I ,like some others, question why would u wait 10 yrs? I don't know all the facts, but he is innocent until proven guilty{ beyond a reasonable doubt} I question the motives of the parents, it's all fun and games till someone gets hurt. So many girls make false accusations if they get mad or don't get their way. I wish him the best of luck, may the jurors selected today make the right decision.

Wow, we as americans should all agree in the standard of innocent until proven guilty. Judgements before anything is known is so wrong. We should all fear "us" if we have convicted a man, regardless of faults, before he has had a chance to speak his piece. I am saddened by america's judgemental attitude and pray nothing unfortunate or coincidental happens to any of you!!!!

well he was found guilty on three counts of aggrevated sexual assault and two counts of indeceny.... suppose no one will be guessing now. Jury out 90 minutes and sentencing starting this afternoon. Now on to trial for the second the second girl and the charges in Denton county.

There are 8-10 other victims. The prosecutors chose the most detrimental of all the cases to present to the jury. Being 12 and having this done to you causes more of a punishment. More girls will be testifying to determine the punishment. It's not money and it's not fishy. Mel lives in an apartment in North Richland Hills...he is not made of money. It's not just ONE girl.

You are correct that there were other victims however they could not prosecute due to the time that had passed but they did testify. Correct again when you say he has no money. Prior to his arrest he met and moved in with a woman and her two kids in Lewsiville and at that time he didnt even have a car to drive and was staying with friends. She eventually lost her home to foreclosure trying to keep him out of jail. They moved to Valley Ranch area in June/July of last year. I sure hope that was all worth it to her. Denton County will have their hand at him next I am guessing.

most of you do now know mel hall personally. i do, and i know what he is about. no one was after his money.. HE DOESN'T have any. i'm sure he hasn't paid child support on his 9 kids.. he was always making crude comments to the players. mel hall has ruined some of these girls lives and they are just now able to talk about it. who cares that its 10 years later, at least they have came out about it and now young girls won't be in harm of him. Mel was always using people to bum money off of and always living off people. if you don't know mel hall and your supporting him... you should hear the terrible stories. maybe then it would change your mind. mel hall deserves to spend life in prison.
