So you wouldn't be happy if a Turkish Cypriot became a president of Cyprus in a power sharing situation.
I too would hate to have a Greek president regardless how he/she got there, Just thinking about it gives me the creeps.
I respect your honest opinion.
Is your intelligence at a level that you can understand simple sentences?........ unfortunately not.

Tin Yerimin Tin Vraka if a power sharing was to materialise how would you feel having a Turkish Cypriot as president of whole Cyprus?
If the TC is like Dr Ihsan Ali, Dervis Ali Kavazoglu, Sener Levent, then of course he can be President of Cyprus.

You want extremist nationalists like Dengtash and Necmetin Erbakan - who created the Cyprus problem - to be President.

You already have a Greek president he is called Demitris Christofias. He represents the whole Island both at the EU and the UN. That is what really counts.
He makes the decisions on how you are fed your healthcare, how your fruit is sold to Europe and how the tourists come and go.

Why dose Christofias need to obtain a entry visa to enter TRNC at a border crossing?,

Your priorities are all screwed up. You worry more about religious status of your European Club than the future of your own country.

You seem to worry more about status than functionality. If only the EU and Euro Zone have put a bit more realistic expectations and rules in this club, they wouldn't be in the position they are now.
Who in his right mind forms a club without strict penalties and exit clause for cheaters? EU is a union of nationalists who are willing to sell their country for freebies.

Europe is full of Muslims, Cyprus is half Muslim and you worry of Cyprus president being a Christian? What about a president who is smart, competent and well educated? When hiring somebody for the highest job in your country, you should choose somebody who qualifies for the job and not somebody who can pray with you. You are not choosing a partner Akrtitas

That's a bang on assessment.
I have known about Greek attitudes for longer than I care to remember and for them, they never recognised the 1960 Treaty.
Their attitude is that is was forced on them and they never intended to honour it.
Also, Greeks think that all the med, Aegean and all of Western Turkey is Greek - this is the mentaliity that underpins everything the Greeks think, say or do.
The 1960 Treaty was the only way to avoid war and partition pre-independence. The Greeks knew that, but rather than build consensus, they set about funding and arming EOKA.
If you read what Greeks say today, its as though they were the perpetual victims - THEY WERE NOT AND ARE NOT.
The only reason why Greeks are able to do what they do over Cyprus is the Greek lobby has strong US support and the EU dislikes Turks.
So all the talks are a waste of time.
Greeks would like to agitate for a conflict as in their eyes, the EU would fight to protect them; the same applies to the new friends they have in Israel.
What they miss is the fact that Turkey has now effectively annexed and the TRNC cannot be undone.
The greek game, for 30+ years is to isolate the north and kill it through trade sanctions. That has worked to some extent, but now the GC's are fccukkked financially like the rest of the Eurozone, their tactics are backfiring.
In my view, nothing will change until the USA changes its view.
The EU are not a player anymore because they only support Greeks.
Personally, if I were in charge of the TRNC, I would open up Varosha and all the other areas of potential to non EU investors and offer 20 year tax breaks to encourage investment.
I was also struck by just how much cash Turkey has poured into the infrastructure of the north.
Cyprus is partitioned - the only question left now is about when that partition will be made legal.
The UN is tired of this dispute and the EU has no ideas at all.
The Greeks do not want a solution [and never have wanted a solution], so like 1960, I suspect one will be imposed.

Stamping a piece of paper and not a passport is a joke. Just like the 'TRNC' passport, you are going through the motions of a State, to make yourselves feel better. Look what happened to poor old Talat when he tried to visit Australia.
Eroglu's official title is the 'Representative of the Turkish Cypriot Community' He can call himself what he likes but nobody accepts him as a President. Can he make any state visits? Represent his' country at the UN, EU or any other international body? Can any airplanes land in the North or ships dock from any country of any significance apart from Turkey?
Can any athlete, sportsmen or team represent the non entity in any recognised international event.
Can Eroglu make any significant decisions like ask the Turkish troops to leave?
Let's be serious its an occupation and Turkey calls the shots.
As for Christofias talking to Eroglu. Papadopoulos was right all along. He should be talking to Turkey direct or not at all.

You still dont get it do you. You are missing the point,
To enter TRNC you will need to go through TRNC immigration, whether you like it or not , you may think our passports and our visas are worthless, 1000s of Greek Cypriots and 1000s of tourists from all over the world pass through our borders using those papers. the main thing is it gets the job done.

Mr Talat was advised against using TRNC to enter Australia, yet 1000s of Turkish Cypriots visit and settled in Australia using their TRNC passports,
it is your loss not ours,, As Turkish Cypriot president Mr Talat was the chief negotiator with Greek Cypriot leaders between 2005 and 2010. On his visit to Australia, Mr Talat was due to meet with Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots to exchange ideas on human rights issues in Cyprus, as well as his proposals for a fair and just solution to the Cyprus problem,

I am whats known as Turkish Cypriot, Dervis the public,
Today I can just drive to London airport and board a plane to Ercan TRNC without making any pre arrangements.
I can buy anything ie cars furniture anything I chose and and have them shipped to Magusa or Girne ports with no difficulties what so ever,
being one of TRNC public do you think I care how they get there, as long as they do is more then good enough for me. so we miss out on some international events, be patients there are times for every thing,

Now you are bull shitting us!
You cannot board a plane from London to Occupied Cyprus 'Ercan'. You can only fly from Turkey direct to North Cyprus. Your plane from London Goes to Turkey first and then to the Turkish Occupied part of Cyprus.

No Turkish Cypriot can travel to Australia using a 'TRNC' passport they would not be allowed to board any plane except a Turkish one and then not allowed through customs.Yes there are Turkish Cypriots in Australia and all over. They have been forced out by Turkey and their settlers. If you are a Turkish Cypriot you are in a minority of happy ones.

You travel from London to Cyprus either with a Republic of Cyprus passport or a British one and then cross the Green line. Or via Turkey with a Turkish passport or British one.
The Turkish Cypriots travel with Republic of Cyprus passports over one hundred thousand have been issued, including Dervis Eroglus daughters.

I can understand that you are happy with the current status quo you can live on free property confiscated from others and in an area subsidized by the Republic of Cyprus and Turkey.

What matters is the view of those who are paying for your extravagances and they don't seem too pleased at the moment, one side is moaning like crazy.

No bullsh*t mate, I never bullsh*t
it's true, I can drive to London Heathrow or stansted airports buy a Ticket to Ercan TRNC and fly the first plane out . some times it's a direct flight to Ercan most of the time the plain touch down in Turkey passengers whose destination is Turkey will get off other passengers will board the plane for Ercan it takes about 45 minutes to depart again,

There are many Turkish Cypriots living in Australia who arrived there with a TRNC passports, so dont argue.

I travel to TRNC with a european Passport issued in UK , and I cross in to south with a TRNC identity card Just for the fun of it.

No such thing as Illegal RoC passport, get it in to your head it is a European passport issued in Illegal RoC, unlike TRNC, Illegal RoC dose not issue it's own passport.

Hahah illegal RoC subsidise TRNC joke of the weak.
