So the Greek Cypriots have not only stole the right to become the sole representative of Cyprus but they have also stolen the Cyprus flag off a Turkish Cypriot.

Not only the right to become the sole representative of Cyprus and the Cyprus flag Tom, they have also stolen our cuisine and claimed it as Greek cuisine. What can one say Tom, thieves all round. They will steal anything that is not nailed down and also anything that is nailed and padlocked too.

Not only Tom, ever heard of "Greek Yogurt" or "Greek Hallumi"?. What about "Dolmates" (don't know if I spelled that correctly? What about "Greek Coffe"? All these are Turkish and stolen by the Greeks/GC's.

Yogurt became "Greek yogurt".

Hellim "Became Greek Hallumi".

Dolma became "Dolmates"

Turkish Coffee became "Greek Coffee".

Doner Kebab became "Gyros"

Cacik became "Tzatziki".

Pide became "Pitta bread".

Don't these people have any shame?

Usurpation of the culture of the Byzantine Greeks and the Persians. You're good for nothing Turko.

Imagine that after the fall of Constantinople Suleiman used as his personal seal the seal of... K. Paleologos, having no idea what the it was written on it!!! He presented himself as the king of the Greeks. 100% Turkish caveman mentality.

The Cyprus flag was designed by a TC with the establishment of the Cyprus republic. It is not because its a great design but because of its neutral symbol. It has also implications to the political problem. If you ask me,I think is very ugly and should be replaced as soon as possible.A second grader can design a better flag than this.

The name doesn't mean anything.Who originally invented them. The above products are also get claimed by the Iranians[Persians]Arabs[Syrian s,Palestinians,Lebanese]Armeni ans and Israelis.
The Byzantines ruled these countries over a thousand years. They had Emperors,an upper class and merchants. They invented the folk and knife, when the Turks were eating raw horse and camel meat and ate rice pilaf with their fingers.Even the Beduins today eat with their hands and fingers. They are nomads like the Turks. Now tell me which is the original name Ismir or Smyrna,Isnik or Nikaia,Kirne or Kerynia,Istanbul or stinpoli[to the city in Greek],Kypros or Kibris?

I think that if anybody has a problem with the ethnicity of a certain individual that isn't involved in politics in anyway, that they should seek phsychiatric help as it can cause great mental damage.

the bad thing for the turkish is that the origins of the Greek food is documented by the ancient writers, thus get the patent,on the other hand turkish food is documented as rip offs from the native people of middle east.
a comparison with the couzine of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan ,Kyrgyzstan will proven that even the most hardliners.
turkish couzine is a mixture of greek, armenian and Iranian couzine.
sorry by no dolma, no Lahmajoon, no yogurt, no hallumi, no feta, no ........

You will find that countries and continents have inspired eachother for Centuries. The originators of ketchup, China now is being used by nearly every country on the planet. This is just an example.

I think its a great thing that Recipe's are being shared within people. People inspire people.

For example, one of my favourite Cypriot dishes is Mulahiya. It's a spinach like dish. However, after working in Cuba for 4 months and becomming addicted to Cajun Habanero peppers, Now i add it with Mulahiya and eat it. Lovely.

Have a nice day
