The problem Tolga is that you are mixing politics with history. By this I mean you are trying to use history as a political weapon.

Greeks do not use the word Greek to describe each other. They use the word Hellen. The Germans don't call themeselves German, but Deutch. The Italians call the Tedeschi. Greeks and Hellens are the same thing.
What you have to understand is that Greeks do not think they developed on their own in exclusion of all others. Greeks have adopted ideas from the east and Egypt. What they are saying is that they developed these ideas and added to them to form a Hellenic civilisation, so that Greek architecture does not look the same as Egyptian and Roman architecture is different from Greek even because they adopted it and added their own inventions such as the arch. And so on and so forth.
The Turks borrowed many things from the Arabs and the Persians but they adapted them to form a unique Turkish culture during the Ottoman period.
The Macedonians as you say are Slavs. They are trying to build a new nation. If tey do not try to find something unique such as calling themselves decendants from Alexander, then there is nothing to distinguish them from the the Serbs or even the Bulgarians. The Croats are at least Catholic, the Bosnians are also Muslim so its easier for them to distinguish themselves from other states in the former Yugoslavia. This is what the Slav Macedonians are trying to do. It does not make what thesay true though does it?

As Profeesor Lewis said, the original Turkish tribes that moved into anatolia had a language that was too primitive and needed to borrow words from Arabs and Persians. Even the great Attaturk himself had to eventually resort to going back using the Ottoman language he knew originally.

The ancient Turkish language you can't even read. But hey leta us look at the Uzbeks or the Tadjiks what language do the right in? Is it the oooold Turkish alphabet? NO RUSSIAN. You build pyramids? Orthodox religion put a nail in those principles many many years ago. You cannot going round with negative connotations of other "Barbaric" Nations around you. Not very Hellenistic.
