Operation Barbarossa: Orgy of rape and genocide launched by Hitler against Russia

Full story: www.dailymail.co.uk

Hitler, appealing to history, called his campaign Operation Barbarossa, after a daring and expansionist medieval German emperor. But what happened was nothing short of barbarism, on a scale never seen before in modern Europe.

The numbers of troops involved were colossal, almost too large to take in. Over the next four years, five million German soldiers were to die on the Eastern Front and as many again taken prisoner.

Soviet losses would approach a mind-boggling 27 million, of whom two-thirds were civilians. Hitler urged his generals to fight ‘a battle of annihilation’ and commanders made it clear that murder, rape and looting were not only allowed, but actively encouraged.

But going east proved to be Hitler’s greatest mistake, the one that lost him the war.

Limeys starved 24 million hindus death alone during their rule of India.
Yes, maybe, but we brought them the railway system which they still use.
I didn't know that Finns were so pro-Indian anyway.

Don"t get me wrong. Russians who come here are harmless ordinary people but further Moscow you go the more nationalist and hostile they get.
Have those Muscovites scared you, Luky?

I was raised in New York and compared to Manhattan, they seem like a docile bunch (I won't even mention Brooklyn or Queens), reasonably friendly too. Maybe Finland needs a city like NYC to feel better about its neighbors?

Not the non-russian muscovites. Many non-russians like armenians, georgians, tatars or jews are wealthier there than the russian people. Thus nationalism and shaven heads.
Its odd that a russian muscovite would envy and hate a fellow georgian muscovite.
Although many of these non-russian muscovites also seem to celebrate "Victory day" which is perhaps understandable.
Georgians aren't Muscovites, that word only applies to Russians, Moskali as Ukrainians call them. There's no such thing as a non Russian Muscovite.

The difference in wealth between Russia and Ukraine is nowhere near as great as that between USA and Mexico, so it's not a good comparison.

Only a person born in Moscow, can call themself a Muscovite, just as only someone born in London can call themself a Londoner.

Rubbish!

A Londoner is someone who lives in London, wherever he was born.

It's not so simple.

Although the term may be used in news reports of statistics, you wouldn't normally describe yourself as a Londoner unless you are either born or grew up there. It's also tied to how you see yourself and how strong your ties to a place are. Add to that how others see you. For example, living in Paris doesn't automatically make you a Parisian, at least not to native Parisians. A Londoner moving to New york would always be perceived as a Brit by native New yorkers. If you're moving from place to place every few months what then?

How do you know that there isn't? Russians and other nationalities go on there, including your old pal Pesky.
It's strange how you claim to be Serbian and yet never post on that forum or contribute to threads about Serbia on here.

I disagree, you can only call yourself after the place you were born, or were raised in.
