No one was "taken" by Jason LaFlesch or the countless buyers/agents that were recommending Costa Rica to people as well. I personally have seen many of the other buyers that purchased go to Costa Rica and see for themselves. The real thieves were Mauricio Chaves of Costa Rica and James and Shelly Bruno of Arizona. Both the Bruno's and Mauricio collected every penny. I know for a fact that Jason nor any of the other buyers/agents didn't touch a penny either. Anyone that has any clue about the situation would know what happened. Educate yourselves people.

The worst part about these forums is that that occasionally you have people who post information that just isn't true! Jason always looks out for others best interest even before his own. He has personally made me a small fortune and I will continue doing business with him.

It's only natural to want to blame somebody when things don't go according to plan. Jason did not benifit from others misfortunes so really ask yourself if it is appropiate to wrongfully accuse him for something that was out of his control.

I now know that Jason had nothing to do with the Costa Real mishap. Indeed, Mauricio Chaves Meseen of Costa Rica handled every penny. I too have been down to Costa Rica and met the attorney, the developer, saw the opportunity and made the decision to reserve lots in Costa Real. The current world economy has something to do with the developments that have been negatively affected. What I have learned from this experience is that knowing all the facts before accusing others is the proper way to assess a situation without jumping to conclusions. Apologies to Jason.
