Clunker program spurs local car sales

I supoort the "CASH FOR CLUNKERS" program! It stimulates our US economy and probably the world's economy!

I don't understand how this is going to help my self or the dealer. So I drive down in the car thats running good and no payments and get rid of it and buy one of their clunkers that they can't sell to anyone else as it sits and before. so the gov. wants me to sign up for a 30k and minus 10k ISTILL AM SPENDING 20K AND % TO BOOT to help this industry and gov. that both have been sticking it to all of us for YEARS. I rather drive the old bomber that might cost 40$ a month more in gas and not the bank 300/500$ a month. These are close to being the same crooks that stole our saving and 401k that I could of used to buy a new car with out their programs. If you want to pick up the ball and run with it I'll sit over here and watch you high rollers save the world.
