Traffic Backs Up For Miles After Head-On Collision

This is my biggest fear driving a small car-that some idiot that is too busy to pay attention to the road will come into my lane and hit me head on...one of the reasons I drive with my headlights on at all times. I've had people on cell phones, messing with radio, etc that have come a little over the line-thankfully, no one has come over far enough for me not to get out of the way. In my opinion, police should be driving around in traffic in unmarked cars looking for people not paying attention to their driving or staying in their lane-we would be much better off than just sitting on the side of the road using speed as the main criteria for pulling someone over. Speeding does not make someone a poor driver. People not controlling their vehicle is the root of the problem.

first of all SCOTT, you dont know why he crossed over the line... he could have been having a heart attack or something so dont open your mouth an call someone an idiot for doin that when you dont even know how it happend ok ! an havin a small car has nothing to do with it... an thats great if u drive with ur headlights on... im sure that wasnt tha problem.. an pretty sure cops cant pull over everyone that is not doing a perfectly straight line an have more to do than LOOK for people not paying attention...

Actually the man was drunk...that's why he crossed over the line. Neither were life flighted and the man hit is still in the trama unit while the other rightfully sits in jail...
