Joe was my good friend,he could never do what I believe that ruthless,calculating,demon of a wife,did or had done.I knew she was N.G.from day 1.

I remember the moment that Christine walked into Joe's life. We all were scared and knew that something really sinister was up with this chick. But I never thought back then that this would be possible, and YES I do believe she killed him. I can only wonder tomorrow at the wake, if she'll be there and if so, is she'll realize that everyone there thinks she is a murderer.

Joe was one of the finest men I've ever met and had the pleasure of working for. He made me laugh and even talking with people about his death has brought a smile to my face, because you can't think of Joe and not laugh.

He was the Original Mother Fletcher!

I worked for Joe and helped him with both stores and loved every minute of it. The best is when he invites you into his life. I've been to Mikey and Becky's b-day parties. We even took a road trip to the Milwauky Fest. Joe was one of the greatest guys anyone would know. The only thing I regret is not seeing him last week like I was going to. I hope that everyone that knew him heard about this.

Played ball with Joe for almost a decade. A gutty competitor that could play almost any position. A great guy to have on your side. Always a pleasure seeing him because he was so upbeat and funny. Will miss him.

as someone who knows his kids personally...she had something to do with this...wasnt stuff missing from home? just some thoughts there

did anyone go to the wake? I met these people in Florida last year. Joe seemed like a really nice guy. His wife, kristine, treated him awful. Yelling at him for no reason at the show grounds. I remember thinking how embarrsed he must have been and what a fool she looked like.

I just heard about this today and I'm totally shocked! I did not know Joe personally, but I was a customer a bunch of times and he always treated me with respect. I thought he was a real gentleman. What a loss.

Two days before Joe was killed he tried to reclaim a horse that kristine took of his when she left there house. This is a 100,000$ horse Kept at tri-star farm in Frankfort Illinois.
Joe had called kristine to get the horse she took of his back. She said no way.. but not that nice.
The night before Joe was killed he took his horse trailer and truck to tristar to reclaim the stolen horse. Kristine must have expected this to happen because there was a hefty chain and lock on the stall door.
Sadly enough the next day Joe was found dead and Kristine still had the horse.
We used to work at the farm Joe and kristine bought in october of 2005 when they bought the original owner made arrangemants for the other borders to stay for at least 6 months.
Withtin one month of buying the place she kicked everyone out 5 months early and fired everyone that she agreed to keep for 6 months!
She is a snake. And i wouldnt be surprised if joe wound up dead so she could try to get life insurance money!
I hayte to say it but she probably only got pregnant to lure Joe even closer!
But if anyone wants to tell Kristine what they think of her she is at Tri-star Farm in frankfort. She also is banned froom illinois horse for deceptive practice.

I spoke with Joe this past April, and we discussed his impending divorce, the fact that she stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from him, and that she likely did get pregnant to trap him. We also discussed her 10s of thousands of dollars in medical claims, that I was going to help him resolve. I heard she got his black book, which detailed all of her misgivings, as he was preparing a case to lock her up. I know she did this. He told me that he wouldn't be surprised if he ended up dead because of her, and joked that he ought to do it first. I know it was a joke, because he was too kind a man to kill his kid's mother.

Joe was a very good man. He did not deserve this. It will come out that the reason she hired someone was because of all the information he had on her illegal activities.

Could you imagine the cold heart of the woman who would hire a man to kill her baby's father, who had Parkinsons, and then force him to suffer a miserable death the way he did.

I hope she rots in a tiny cell prior to making it to hell

I just took a condensed real estate course with this girl last week..I decided to google her name today to get the real scoop on this chick...I had overheard her on the cell phone talking about the murder of her husband, the cops, the press ect...all week I joked with a friend that she was guilty....being a world class poker player I am able to read people and there tells...All week she displayed abnormal bahvior...she seemed way too organized and obsessive over such minor details...especially for a woman that just went through this trtagic event...Who would be able to take a condensed 1 week 45hr plus 3hrs studying a night real estate course after such a tragedy? I would be a bumbling pill freak if this had happened to me for at least 6 months.......And now that I see these comments...It all adds up.

Yeah Big, kinda crazy, very calm and collected all week, smiling and cheery, guess thats the way an inheritence/ 100k horse can make you feel...verdict guilty

Where was this real estate class? Is she working for a real estate company?

RE class was in Westmont..She mentioned that she did not have a job and that her lawyer told her she would get 20,000/month if she did not have a job...I believe she took the c ourse to handle the real estate she inherited..She also was trying to understand the real estate financing..I believe she had started the process on some of the property to get cash out of the inherited properties.

Hmmm, did she really inherit all the real estate? Wouldn't it all be in probate pending the murder investigation? Is she really not a suspect?? I sure wish there was more information on what's happening with all of this. She doesn't seem to be hiding or anything.

I think she's guilty, hands down. It's a shame that they haven't figured out who was behind this terrible crime. It's also scary to think that this person is still at large. Even if it's not Kristine, it had to be somebody he knew. Stabbing someone in the face is very personal. Just to think that someone capable of such a crime is out there walking the streets, really is frustrating!!! Does anybody know anything???
