Wonderful Wilmington government at work, you took the jobs of 8 people for a savings of $200,000 savings a year. How much is your integrity worth? Making hard government decisions is pain staking but protecting the welfare of the people in your town is worth at least that. Please vote this new regime out next time and keep our tax dollars in town. The only true way to support your local economy is to keep those $$$ in the community. Not one $ of Wescom's fees will be brought back into the community. These employees live here and spend here and pay property taxes here, spend their money locally supporting our local economy. Too bad the city government did not do the same.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Taurus

It's important that you keep that famous bull-headedness in check over the next couple of weeks. Be cool, calm and sensible and you'll find that you end up with things correctly and tidily done. Stick to the straight and narrow, no matter what the distractions or irritations around you. If you think outside the square, you'll begin to see how visualisation can change and shape your life. Trust your hunches and be ready to move on them.
